The document discusses four types of leadership styles: autocratic, laissez-faire, democratic, and collective. Autocratic leadership gives one person complete control with no input from others. Laissez-faire leadership involves minimal state intervention in economic transactions between private parties. Democratic leadership gives all citizens an equal voice in decisions that affect their lives. Collective leadership involves groups working together on common objectives or interests without a focus on economic benefits.
6. Autocratic This form of leadership is one of the least desirable when it comes to building trusting relationships and making friends! In a system of autocratic leadership, one person has control over all of the workers or followers. The leader is in complete control and no one is permitted to make any suggestions or offer any opinions, no matter how it may benefit the group.
7. laissez-faire In economics, laissez-fairedescribes an environment in which transactions between private parties are free from state intervention, including restrictive regulations, taxes, tariffs and enforced monopolies.
8. democratic Democracy is a form of government in which all citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives. Ideally, this includes equal participation in the proposal, development and passage of legislation into law. It can also encompass social, economic and cultural conditions that enable the free and equal practice of political self-determination.
9. Collective A collective is a group of entities that share or are motivated by at least one common issue or interest, or work together on a specific projects to achieve a common objective. Collectives differ from cooperatives inthat they are not necessarily focused upon an economic benefit or saving. There may be some issues with meaningfully describing the qualities of a collective.
