The Proven Secrets to Boost Your Search
Engine Rankings With Little Time & Effort!

ABOUT ME
I am Dominic Tay and I'm not one of those SEO "gurus" who is going to sell you
on some SEO theories.

In fact, you can call me an 'anti-guru' because I don't make a big bulk of my
money teaching others SEO, but through doing SEO for my own sites.

And all thanks to these SEO strategies that I'm about to share to you, I now
have multiple websites ranking in top 5 positions in Google, bringing me
consistent traffic and residual income each month.

One of them is ArticleSubmitAuto (an online article submitter) that's ranking in
Google for these keywords:

                          Keyword: Article submitter
                           Position: #3 (Google US)

                                   Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
Keyword: Article submission tools
                           Position: #4 (Google US)

Besides providing article submission services, I also provide link building
services for fellow marketers at LinkBuildingAutomation.com

And in the last 2 years or so, I'm really blessed because my services have
helped over 3,587 marketers around the world get better rankings in the
search engines.

I also run an offline SEO consulting company, Leverage Leap LLP, serving offline
companies in Singapore including SK Investigation Services, DoctorWindow Pte
Ltd, Value4U Pte Ltd.

WHY I CREATED THIS FORMULA GUIDE:
Almost every other week, I'll receive email from some marketers with a new
SEO hype or Google 'loophole'. And I'll also receive at least 2 emails from
different Indian SEO companies... all claiming to be 'SEO experts'... just because
they know how to do some basic social bookmarking and article submission.

So, I'm really tired of all these "fly-by-night" CRAP and so-called "SEO experts"
who are destroying the reputation of SEO marketers like myself.

That's why I've created this formula guide that cuts through the clutter to show
you ONLY the stuff that works.

But more than just that, I'm also going to show and prove to you that just by
following a few key SEO principles, you too can DRAMATICALLY improve your
search engine rankings.

SOME ASSUMPTIONS
In this formula guide, I'm going to assume that you already know Keyword
Research so you know how to identify those profitable keywords in your niche.

But if you need some guidance in keyword research, check out these software:

    MicroNicheFinder
    Market Samurai
I personally use these software for myself and on behalf of my SEO clients. Plus,
they have tons of keyword research training materials (videos and manuals) to
teach you how to do proper Keyword Research.

In the meantime, I would like to introduce to you the idea of…

THE "SEO 80/20" TECHNIQUE
I'm sure you've heard of the 80/20 rule – that 80% of our results come from
only 20% of the work we do.

After making many changes to my sites and tracking the results, I am
convinced that this 80/20 rule applies in SEO too. Specifically, I realized that
just by tweaking a few key elements, I'm able to dramatically affect my search
engine rankings.

So for the rest of this formula guide, I'll be sharing with you those exact key
elements.

WILL THE RESULTS LAST?
I'm not one of those people who are exposing some "Google loophole" or
something. And that's why I'm able to get my websites (and my clients'
websites) up there and just as importantly, STAY UP THERE.

                                    Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
So, no matter what updates Google throw out, the websites continue to rank
high in the search engines. And if you're willing to follow the strategies that I'm
going to outline in this guide, you too can enjoy long lasting SEO results and
dominate your competition.

And that's not all…

In just a few moments, I'll be taking apart the SEO work I've done for my
website, ArticleSubmitAuto.com, to show you exactly how I got it to rank for its
keywords:

   - Article submitter
   - Article submission software
Are you ready? Let's begin…

There are 2 major ingredients to your SEO success:

   1. On-Page Optimization
   2. Off-Page Optimization (also known as Link Building)

                      On-Page Optimization
This section will show you exactly the little changes you can do to the elements
on your website... that will reap you the most SEO results.

Are you ready? Let's start off with…

META TAGS
There are 3 major meta tags:

   1. Title
   2. Description
   3. Keywords

META TITLE
This is the text you would see appearing on your browser title bar like this
(next page please):

                                    Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
You can also see it appearing in the search engines like this:

How to SEO Optimize: Mention your main keyword as close to the beginning
of the Title as possible, and at least once.

So if your keyword is “how to lose weight”, the ideal title would be: “How to
lose weight – Secrets revealed!”

Additional Tip: Although Google reads the full length of your title, they will
only display up to 65 characters in the title, before replacing the rest with “…”.

So if you would also like to improve your conversions, make sure the first 65
characters of your title sounds persuasive enough to make people want to visit
your website.

META DESCRIPTION
This is the paragraph that you'll see in the search engines like this:

                                    Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
How to SEO Optimize: Mention your main keyword as close to the beginning
of the description as possible, and at least twice.

So if your keyword is “how to lose weight”, the ideal title would be: “How to
lose weight without pills or painful diets! Click here to learn more about how
to lose weight…”

Additional Tips: You can dramatically improve your clickthrough rates from the
Google results by doing these:

   - Promise a benefit or a solution to the key frustration
   - Add a “call to action”

META KEYWORDS
You can only see these keywords if you “View source” using your internet
browser. It looks like this:

<meta name="keywords" content="main keyword, keyword 2, keyword 3">

Although there has been talk that Google (and the other search engines) no
longer pays any attention to the Meta Keywords, no one can confirm this. Plus,
it doesn't hurt to include your keywords there. And that's why I'm still
including the meta keywords for all my personal websites and my clients'
websites.

How to SEO Optimize: Simply include your keywords in the meta keywords,
each separated by a comma.

HEADINGS
This includes all the h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 heading tags.

How to SEO Optimize: Include your keywords into each of the levels, at least
once per level.

DOMAIN NAME/URL
How to SEO Optimize: Include your keyword inside your webpage URL.

Additional Tips: The ideal situation is to have your main keyword inside your
domain URL. For example, have http://www.howtoloseweight.com for the
keyword of 'how to lose weight'.

                                    Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
However, if the domain is already taken up, you can consider purchasing a
domain by adding an alphabet behind like
“http://www.howtoloseweightq.com”.

Alternatively, simply rename the webpage filename to “how-to-lose-weight”,
so the actual webpage URL will still carry the main keyword like this:

http://www.yourdomain.com/how-to-lose-weight/

KEYWORD DENSITY VS LSI KEYWORDS
Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a
web page compared to the total number of words on the page.

Many years ago where search engines are still new and AltaVista was the king,
"keyword stuffing" worked pretty well.

For example:

However Google changed the entire Search Engine Optimization game.

They know that SEO Marketers are manipulating the search engines results
with keyword stuffing. So, they no longer rely on Keyword Density.

Instead, they now rely on relevant keywords (technically known as Latent
Semantic Indexing keywords, or LSI keywords).

So…

How to SEO optimize your content: Mention relevant keywords in your
content.

Say, we're targeting 'Golf Clubs' as the main keyword, relevant keywords
would be:

    Golf swings

                                  Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
 Golf shoes
    Golf caps
... and everything related to golf.

Don't talk about movies, pets or other stuffs that are unrelated.

If not, the search engines spider will be confused because they can't tell what
your webpage is actually talking about.

IMAGE TAGS
Image tags are often overlooked by even the seasoned SEO marketers.

What they don't realize is that besides inserting keywords into their text
content, they can actually insert their keywords into their images as well.

Because search engine spiders cannot read images like our eyes, they process
the texts that are available to them – the HTML codes.

For example, when we see this image:

Image courtesy of Sarah Boerger Smith

… We can immediately tell that this is an image of 2 boys playing having fun
playing with water.

But what the search engine bots see is:

       <img src= 'http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4137/4818775890
_9763640b61.jpg' title='Boys having a blast at the water park'
alt=' Boys having a blast at the water park'>

                                        Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
And because the search engine bots cannot 'see' images like our human eyes,
they get the contents of the images from the:

    Filename
    Title tag
    Alt tag
In other words, the search engine bots pays close attention to the text
contents of the images.

How to SEO Optimize: Include your main keyword in the filename of your
images and mention the keyword in the “Title” tag plus the “Alt” tag as well.

So if you're going for the keywords, “how to lose weight”, do this:

       <img src='http://www.yourdomain.com/images/how-to-lose-
weight.jpg' title= 'how to lose weight' alt='how to lose weight'>

Alright, that's all for the on-page optimization. Let's move on to…

                     Off-Page Optimization
Off-Page Optimization or link building, is all about getting high quality incoming
links (or backlinks) to your webpage.

Generally, the more incoming links your website have, the higher it will rank in
the search engines.

However, that's not entirely true.

But the problem is that most SEO Marketers just take in the literal terms and
they only focus on the number of the backlinks. As a result, they end up
wasting huge amounts of their time and money.

Why? Because not all incoming links have the same level of SEO impact.

You see, Google favors some websites over the others, and they measure this
through their Google Pagerank – the higher their Pagerank, the more
important they are in Google's eyes.

And if you have these websites pointing to yours, can you make a guess what
Google would now think of your website? That's right. Google will think that

                                     Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
your website is just as important too. So, one of the keys to ranking high in the
search engines is to get backlinks from these authority websites. And that's
how I'm able to get my websites and help clients outrank their competitors.

THE DIFFERENT SOURCES OF INCOMING LINKS
There are many sources for incoming links:

ARTICLE DIRECTORIES
How it works: These article directories thrive on user submitted content. And
they encourage user submission by allowing us to build a backlink back to our
website by mentioning our URL in the "Author box" of the article like this:

What To Do:

   1. Create unique articles around your keyword with the On-Page
Optimization tips given in the previous section
   2. Submit it to the top article directories – those that already have high
amounts of daily visitors and high SEO impact. This includes:
       GoArticles.com
       Ezinearticles.com
       IdeaMarketers.com
       ArticleBiz.com
       ArticlesBase.com
       Amazines.com
       ArtiPot.com
Submitting to article directories is one of the most effective methods to get
high quality backlinks. However, they can get really time consuming and
energy zapping if you're doing all the manual legwork.

                                   Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
Learn more about automating the entire article submission process by going to
ArticleSubmitAuto. (Also get the entire list of article directories you can submit
to, on the same page)

SOCIAL BOOKMARKING
How it works: Social Bookmarking sites encourage members to bookmark their
favorite pages on their sites and share it with other members. An example:

What to do:

   1. Create a suitable title and description with your main keyword
mentioned at least once in each of them
   2. Include your main keyword and relevant keywords inside the
      tags/keywords field.
   3. Submit it to the top social bookmarking sites – Again, those with high
daily visitors and SEO impact. This includes:
       Digg.com
       Stumbleupon.com
       Jumptags.com
       Folkd.com
       Reddit.com

FORUMS

                                    Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
How it works: Most forums profiles are accessible by the search engines, and
they allow you to add your website to the "Homepage" field there. The better
news is, some of them even allow you to add hyperlinks to your websites using
your main keywords, in their "Signature" box like this:

What To Do:

   1. Search for forums on the internet. Go to Google.com and type in:
      <niche> forums
… for example, "Dog training forums"
   2. For each of the forums in the search results, check if they allow
members to place your link in the "Signature" and in the "Homepage"
      field.
The easiest way is to click through a few of their forum threads and see
if members have the "Signature" box like the one you see in the above
      screenshot.
   3. If yes, create a user account in these forums and add your website URL
      to the signature.
While this process can be overwhelmingly time consuming, forum backlinking
is one of the most effective ways to create incoming links to your websites.
And if you'd like someone reliable to get your forum backlinking handled, visit
LinkBuildingAutomation and read the reviews there.

                                   Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
WEB 2.0 CONTENT SITES
How it works: Web 2.0 content sites behave just like article directories – that is,
they also publish your articles on their website for FREE, like this:

And inside your articles, you can include backlinks to your own website like this:

   3. Create unique articles around your keyword with the On-Page
Optimization tips given in the previous section
   4. Submit it to the top Web 2.0 content sites – those that already have high
amounts of daily visitors and high SEO impact. This includes:
       Webs.com
       Wordpress.com

 Blogger.com
       Weebly.com
       Myspace.com
       Multiply.com

RSS SUBMISSION
How it works: RSS Aggregation sites like Feedagg.com features RSS feeds on
their websites. And in these RSS feeds, you can add backlinks to your website,
each hyperlinked with your keyword like this:

What to do:

   1. Register a free account at HostMyRSS.com and "Create A New RSS Feed".
   2. Input your main keyword in the "feed name" and "feed description".
Add your main site URL to the "urls". You can also add any other
backlinks you've created there, like this:

   3. Copy the URL of the created RSS feeds, for example:
      http://hostmyrss.com/feed/article_submitter

                                  Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
4. Register for accounts, if mandatory, at these RSS aggregation sites:
       Feedagg.com
       Feedraider.com
       Feedfury.com
       GoldenFeed.com
       BlogDigger.com
       RssMountain.com
       RssMicro.com
       RssMotron.com
       Technorati.com
       IceRocket.com
       Blo.gs
   5. Submit your RSS feeds there, mentioning your main keyword at least
once in the RSS feed name and description.

BLOG COMMENTING
How it works: Most blogs encourage feedback and opinions from their readers.
You might even find some that allow you to provide a link back to your website
with your keywords hyperlinked like this:

What to do:

   1. Search for blogs in your niche.
   2. Post a useful and non-spammy comment in each of them, using the
keyword as your name, and the website as your webpage URL.

Conclusion
SEO is dead simple. You don't need any specialized skills or experience to make
it work. Simply follow the keys of On-Page and Off-Page Optimization I've
shared and you'll see the difference in the search engine results.

The entire process may seem like a lot of work at first. But once you've gone
through them, it'll be a piece of cake. Remember, what I'm sharing with you is
not some "quick fix" or loophole. It's something that works and will continue to
work for a long, long time. So every minute and cent you invest in this will be
paid back to you in the future.

                     Additional Resources
I offer a variety of services which may benefit you, depending on your needs.
I'll briefly explain them and if you need any clarification, you can always
contact me with the support email address at the end of this guide:

   - If you want someone reliable to build high Google Pagerank (4 and
above) links for you on a monthly basis, I have a service to take care of
     that on your behalf.
The problem with most backlinking services is that they rely on software
that doesn't work effectively. I've had my own (bad) experiences with
these services and that's why I've put together an SEO team to build all
my backlinks manually. And now, you too can leverage on their SEO
expertise. All you have to do is to let us know your keywords and
webpage URLs, and we'll do the rest.
At the end of each month, you'll receive a comprehensive Backlinks
report detailing the exact links we have built for you. This service is
labour intensive and so it's usually $67/month on the homepage. But
since you're a customer of SEO Eighty Twenty, you can claim your
$20/month discount by clicking here, if spots are still available.
   - If you want an even more powerful SEO link building package to
dominate your competitors, I do offer an all-in-one link building service
     that can help you better.
My team will create all the different types of links covered in this guide,
and provide SEO article writing services so you don't have to write any
content yourself. Plus, we will also add Advanced SEO strategies to the
mix, so your site stand an even better chance in getting the top positions

in the search engines. This is especially for people with company
      websites.
   - I also offer one on one coaching. I specialize in helping beginners get
started, and in helping intermediate marketers move to the next level.
The coaching curriculum is similar to the one I use in the offline seminars
     I hold in Singapore.

Proven Secrets to Boost Your Search Engine Rankings

  • 1. SEO Eighty Twenty The Proven Secrets to Boost Your Search Engine Rankings With Little Time & Effort! ABOUT ME I am Dominic Tay and I'm not one of those SEO "gurus" who is going to sell you on some SEO theories. In fact, you can call me an 'anti-guru' because I don't make a big bulk of my money teaching others SEO, but through doing SEO for my own sites. And all thanks to these SEO strategies that I'm about to share to you, I now have multiple websites ranking in top 5 positions in Google, bringing me consistent traffic and residual income each month. One of them is ArticleSubmitAuto (an online article submitter) that's ranking in Google for these keywords: Keyword: Article submitter Position: #3 (Google US) Page 1 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 2. Keyword: Article submission tools Position: #4 (Google US) Besides providing article submission services, I also provide link building services for fellow marketers at LinkBuildingAutomation.com And in the last 2 years or so, I'm really blessed because my services have helped over 3,587 marketers around the world get better rankings in the search engines. I also run an offline SEO consulting company, Leverage Leap LLP, serving offline companies in Singapore including SK Investigation Services, DoctorWindow Pte Ltd, Value4U Pte Ltd. WHY I CREATED THIS FORMULA GUIDE: Almost every other week, I'll receive email from some marketers with a new SEO hype or Google 'loophole'. And I'll also receive at least 2 emails from different Indian SEO companies... all claiming to be 'SEO experts'... just because they know how to do some basic social bookmarking and article submission. • 3. So, I'm really tired of all these "fly-by-night" CRAP and so-called "SEO experts" who are destroying the reputation of SEO marketers like myself. That's why I've created this formula guide that cuts through the clutter to show you ONLY the stuff that works. But more than just that, I'm also going to show and prove to you that just by following a few key SEO principles, you too can DRAMATICALLY improve your search engine rankings. SOME ASSUMPTIONS In this formula guide, I'm going to assume that you already know Keyword Research so you know how to identify those profitable keywords in your niche. But if you need some guidance in keyword research, check out these software:  MicroNicheFinder  Market Samurai I personally use these software for myself and on behalf of my SEO clients. Plus, they have tons of keyword research training materials (videos and manuals) to teach you how to do proper Keyword Research. In the meantime, I would like to introduce to you the idea of… THE "SEO 80/20" TECHNIQUE I'm sure you've heard of the 80/20 rule – that 80% of our results come from only 20% of the work we do. After making many changes to my sites and tracking the results, I am convinced that this 80/20 rule applies in SEO too. Specifically, I realized that just by tweaking a few key elements, I'm able to dramatically affect my search engine rankings. So for the rest of this formula guide, I'll be sharing with you those exact key elements. WILL THE RESULTS LAST? I'm not one of those people who are exposing some "Google loophole" or something. And that's why I'm able to get my websites (and my clients' websites) up there and just as importantly, STAY UP THERE. Page 3 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 4. So, no matter what updates Google throw out, the websites continue to rank high in the search engines. And if you're willing to follow the strategies that I'm going to outline in this guide, you too can enjoy long lasting SEO results and dominate your competition. And that's not all… In just a few moments, I'll be taking apart the SEO work I've done for my website, ArticleSubmitAuto.com, to show you exactly how I got it to rank for its keywords: - Article submitter - Article submission software Are you ready? Let's begin… There are 2 major ingredients to your SEO success: 1. On-Page Optimization 2. Off-Page Optimization (also known as Link Building) On-Page Optimization This section will show you exactly the little changes you can do to the elements on your website... that will reap you the most SEO results. Are you ready? Let's start off with… META TAGS There are 3 major meta tags: 1. Title 2. Description 3. Keywords META TITLE This is the text you would see appearing on your browser title bar like this (next page please): Page 4 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 5. You can also see it appearing in the search engines like this: How to SEO Optimize: Mention your main keyword as close to the beginning of the Title as possible, and at least once. So if your keyword is “how to lose weight”, the ideal title would be: “How to lose weight – Secrets revealed!” Additional Tip: Although Google reads the full length of your title, they will only display up to 65 characters in the title, before replacing the rest with “…”. So if you would also like to improve your conversions, make sure the first 65 characters of your title sounds persuasive enough to make people want to visit your website. META DESCRIPTION This is the paragraph that you'll see in the search engines like this: Page 5 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 6. How to SEO Optimize: Mention your main keyword as close to the beginning of the description as possible, and at least twice. So if your keyword is “how to lose weight”, the ideal title would be: “How to lose weight without pills or painful diets! Click here to learn more about how to lose weight…” Additional Tips: You can dramatically improve your clickthrough rates from the Google results by doing these: - Promise a benefit or a solution to the key frustration - Add a “call to action” META KEYWORDS You can only see these keywords if you “View source” using your internet browser. It looks like this: <meta name="keywords" content="main keyword, keyword 2, keyword 3"> Although there has been talk that Google (and the other search engines) no longer pays any attention to the Meta Keywords, no one can confirm this. Plus, it doesn't hurt to include your keywords there. And that's why I'm still including the meta keywords for all my personal websites and my clients' websites. How to SEO Optimize: Simply include your keywords in the meta keywords, each separated by a comma. HEADINGS This includes all the h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 heading tags. How to SEO Optimize: Include your keywords into each of the levels, at least once per level. DOMAIN NAME/URL How to SEO Optimize: Include your keyword inside your webpage URL. Additional Tips: The ideal situation is to have your main keyword inside your domain URL. For example, have http://www.howtoloseweight.com for the keyword of 'how to lose weight'. Page 6 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 7. However, if the domain is already taken up, you can consider purchasing a domain by adding an alphabet behind like “http://www.howtoloseweightq.com”. Alternatively, simply rename the webpage filename to “how-to-lose-weight”, so the actual webpage URL will still carry the main keyword like this: http://www.yourdomain.com/how-to-lose-weight/ KEYWORD DENSITY VS LSI KEYWORDS Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. Many years ago where search engines are still new and AltaVista was the king, "keyword stuffing" worked pretty well. For example: However Google changed the entire Search Engine Optimization game. They know that SEO Marketers are manipulating the search engines results with keyword stuffing. So, they no longer rely on Keyword Density. Instead, they now rely on relevant keywords (technically known as Latent Semantic Indexing keywords, or LSI keywords). So… How to SEO optimize your content: Mention relevant keywords in your content. Say, we're targeting 'Golf Clubs' as the main keyword, relevant keywords would be:  Golf swings Page 7 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 8.  Golf shoes  Golf caps ... and everything related to golf. Don't talk about movies, pets or other stuffs that are unrelated. If not, the search engines spider will be confused because they can't tell what your webpage is actually talking about. IMAGE TAGS Image tags are often overlooked by even the seasoned SEO marketers. What they don't realize is that besides inserting keywords into their text content, they can actually insert their keywords into their images as well. Because search engine spiders cannot read images like our eyes, they process the texts that are available to them – the HTML codes. For example, when we see this image: Image courtesy of Sarah Boerger Smith … We can immediately tell that this is an image of 2 boys playing having fun playing with water. But what the search engine bots see is: <img src= 'http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4137/4818775890 _9763640b61.jpg' title='Boys having a blast at the water park' alt=' Boys having a blast at the water park'> Page 8 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 9. And because the search engine bots cannot 'see' images like our human eyes, they get the contents of the images from the:  Filename  Title tag  Alt tag In other words, the search engine bots pays close attention to the text contents of the images. How to SEO Optimize: Include your main keyword in the filename of your images and mention the keyword in the “Title” tag plus the “Alt” tag as well. So if you're going for the keywords, “how to lose weight”, do this: <img src='http://www.yourdomain.com/images/how-to-lose- weight.jpg' title= 'how to lose weight' alt='how to lose weight'> Alright, that's all for the on-page optimization. Let's move on to… Off-Page Optimization Off-Page Optimization or link building, is all about getting high quality incoming links (or backlinks) to your webpage. Generally, the more incoming links your website have, the higher it will rank in the search engines. However, that's not entirely true. But the problem is that most SEO Marketers just take in the literal terms and they only focus on the number of the backlinks. As a result, they end up wasting huge amounts of their time and money. Why? Because not all incoming links have the same level of SEO impact. You see, Google favors some websites over the others, and they measure this through their Google Pagerank – the higher their Pagerank, the more important they are in Google's eyes. And if you have these websites pointing to yours, can you make a guess what Google would now think of your website? That's right. Google will think that Page 9 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 10. your website is just as important too. So, one of the keys to ranking high in the search engines is to get backlinks from these authority websites. And that's how I'm able to get my websites and help clients outrank their competitors. THE DIFFERENT SOURCES OF INCOMING LINKS There are many sources for incoming links: ARTICLE DIRECTORIES How it works: These article directories thrive on user submitted content. And they encourage user submission by allowing us to build a backlink back to our website by mentioning our URL in the "Author box" of the article like this: What To Do: 1. Create unique articles around your keyword with the On-Page Optimization tips given in the previous section 2. Submit it to the top article directories – those that already have high amounts of daily visitors and high SEO impact. This includes:  GoArticles.com  Ezinearticles.com  IdeaMarketers.com  ArticleBiz.com  ArticlesBase.com  Amazines.com  ArtiPot.com Submitting to article directories is one of the most effective methods to get high quality backlinks. However, they can get really time consuming and energy zapping if you're doing all the manual legwork. Page 10 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 11. Learn more about automating the entire article submission process by going to ArticleSubmitAuto. (Also get the entire list of article directories you can submit to, on the same page) SOCIAL BOOKMARKING How it works: Social Bookmarking sites encourage members to bookmark their favorite pages on their sites and share it with other members. An example: What to do: 1. Create a suitable title and description with your main keyword mentioned at least once in each of them 2. Include your main keyword and relevant keywords inside the tags/keywords field. 3. Submit it to the top social bookmarking sites – Again, those with high daily visitors and SEO impact. This includes:  Digg.com  Stumbleupon.com  Jumptags.com  Folkd.com  Reddit.com FORUMS Page 11 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 12. How it works: Most forums profiles are accessible by the search engines, and they allow you to add your website to the "Homepage" field there. The better news is, some of them even allow you to add hyperlinks to your websites using your main keywords, in their "Signature" box like this: What To Do: 1. Search for forums on the internet. Go to Google.com and type in: <niche> forums … for example, "Dog training forums" 2. For each of the forums in the search results, check if they allow members to place your link in the "Signature" and in the "Homepage" field. The easiest way is to click through a few of their forum threads and see if members have the "Signature" box like the one you see in the above screenshot. 3. If yes, create a user account in these forums and add your website URL to the signature. While this process can be overwhelmingly time consuming, forum backlinking is one of the most effective ways to create incoming links to your websites. And if you'd like someone reliable to get your forum backlinking handled, visit LinkBuildingAutomation and read the reviews there. Page 12 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. • 13. WEB 2.0 CONTENT SITES How it works: Web 2.0 content sites behave just like article directories – that is, they also publish your articles on their website for FREE, like this: And inside your articles, you can include backlinks to your own website like this: 3. Create unique articles around your keyword with the On-Page Optimization tips given in the previous section 4. Submit it to the top Web 2.0 content sites – those that already have high amounts of daily visitors and high SEO impact. This includes:  Webs.com  Wordpress.com Page 13 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 14.  Blogger.com  Weebly.com  Myspace.com  Multiply.com RSS SUBMISSION How it works: RSS Aggregation sites like Feedagg.com features RSS feeds on their websites. And in these RSS feeds, you can add backlinks to your website, each hyperlinked with your keyword like this: What to do: 1. Register a free account at HostMyRSS.com and "Create A New RSS Feed". 2. Input your main keyword in the "feed name" and "feed description". Add your main site URL to the "urls". You can also add any other backlinks you've created there, like this: 3. Copy the URL of the created RSS feeds, for example: http://hostmyrss.com/feed/article_submitter Page 14 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 15. 4. Register for accounts, if mandatory, at these RSS aggregation sites:  Feedagg.com  Feedraider.com  Feedfury.com  GoldenFeed.com  BlogDigger.com  RssMountain.com  RssMicro.com  RssMotron.com  Technorati.com  IceRocket.com  Blo.gs 5. Submit your RSS feeds there, mentioning your main keyword at least once in the RSS feed name and description. BLOG COMMENTING How it works: Most blogs encourage feedback and opinions from their readers. You might even find some that allow you to provide a link back to your website with your keywords hyperlinked like this: What to do: 1. Search for blogs in your niche. 2. Post a useful and non-spammy comment in each of them, using the keyword as your name, and the website as your webpage URL. Page 15 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. All Rights Reserved.
  • 16. Conclusion SEO is dead simple. You don't need any specialized skills or experience to make it work. Simply follow the keys of On-Page and Off-Page Optimization I've shared and you'll see the difference in the search engine results. The entire process may seem like a lot of work at first. But once you've gone through them, it'll be a piece of cake. Remember, what I'm sharing with you is not some "quick fix" or loophole. It's something that works and will continue to work for a long, long time. So every minute and cent you invest in this will be paid back to you in the future. Additional Resources I offer a variety of services which may benefit you, depending on your needs. I'll briefly explain them and if you need any clarification, you can always contact me with the support email address at the end of this guide: - If you want someone reliable to build high Google Pagerank (4 and above) links for you on a monthly basis, I have a service to take care of that on your behalf. The problem with most backlinking services is that they rely on software that doesn't work effectively. I've had my own (bad) experiences with these services and that's why I've put together an SEO team to build all my backlinks manually. And now, you too can leverage on their SEO expertise. All you have to do is to let us know your keywords and webpage URLs, and we'll do the rest. At the end of each month, you'll receive a comprehensive Backlinks report detailing the exact links we have built for you. This service is labour intensive and so it's usually $67/month on the homepage. But since you're a customer of SEO Eighty Twenty, you can claim your $20/month discount by clicking here, if spots are still available. - If you want an even more powerful SEO link building package to dominate your competitors, I do offer an all-in-one link building service that can help you better. My team will create all the different types of links covered in this guide, and provide SEO article writing services so you don't have to write any content yourself. Plus, we will also add Advanced SEO strategies to the mix, so your site stand an even better chance in getting the top positions Page 16 of 17 Copyright © 2012. SEOEightyTwenty.com. I specialize in helping beginners get started, and in helping intermediate marketers move to the next level.
