The Editorial Board

Author
Lourdes Grace M. Esteves holds a master’s degree in Special Education and a bachelor’s degree
in Psychology both from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. She has doctorate units
in Child and Family Studies from Miriam College. Her preschool career started at Montessori
School and Claret School. She is a composer of children’s songs and poems, a scriptwriter, a
choreographer, and a director of children’s stage plays. She has also organized and facilitated
several teacher training seminar-workshops as outreach projects to as far as Mindanao.

Consultant-Reviewer
Mona R. Alagar holds a master’s degree in Pre-Elementary Education from St. Joseph’s
College in Quezon City and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Paul College in
Quezon City. She is currently the preschool area coordinator and a college instructor at St.
Pedro Poveda College.

how fascinating it is to work with basic lines and
shapes. Mastering this skill will allow you to form
letters and words that will guide you as you go
along. The activities in this book are easy and
fun that you will look forward to working on the
rest of the pages! Remember, your teachers and
parents are also there to guide you as go through
each activity.

TO THE TEACHER

     My Writing Experience has been designed to
prepare your pupils to master the basic writing
skills beginning with lines and shapes. This
practice will enable your pupils to understand
the formulation of letters starting with basic
strokes in writing. The activities have been
prepared in such a way that the children will find
it challenging and fun to do while learning takes
place with ease.
     Some identified activities come with Dear
Parents. This is a vital part in the development
of your pupils. Assistance from their parents and
an assurance of what they are doing is right will
boost their interest to learn more.
     So, as educators, let us make each activity
a memorable experience for our pupils and let
them know that learning is indeed fun!

Esteves holds a master’s degree in Special Education and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology both from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. She has doctorate units in Child and Family Studies from Miriam College. Her preschool career started at Montessori School and Claret School. She is a composer of children’s songs and poems, a scriptwriter, a choreographer, and a director of children’s stage plays. She has also organized and facilitated several teacher training seminar-workshops as outreach projects to as far as Mindanao. Consultant-Reviewer Mona R. Alagar holds a master’s degree in Pre-Elementary Education from St. Joseph’s College in Quezon City and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Paul College in Quezon City. She is currently the preschool area coordinator and a college instructor at St. Pedro Poveda College.

This practice will enable your pupils to understand the formulation of letters starting with basic strokes in writing.
