Little Scientists Week, November 9-12, is special week of out-of-this-world discovery for our
littlest explorers, kindergarten age and under. This year's theme - Little Astronauts, Big
Universe - will feature a series of activity tables where kids can make their own rockets and
constellation viewers, try astronaut ice cream, and take a trip inside our portable planetarium,
among several others. They'll be treated to stories about space travel and exploration and
then follow it up with activities that reinforce what they have just learned. This week is
designed to empower children to reach for the stars and get them dreaming about what they
might one day become. Imagination Station is currently hosting the traveling exhibition
Hubble Space Telescope: New Views of the Universe, through mid-January 2012. This
visually stimulating exhibition celebrates the achievements of NASA's Hubble Space www.wgte.org
Telescope by magnificently displaying and describing the wonders of the night sky.
