WHO IS THE EDITOR OF VOGUE?
Alexandra Shulman has edited British Vogue since
1992. She was better known as a journalist rather than a
fashion editor and influenced Vogue's readership rise to
over a million.
WHICH COMPANY PUBLISHES VOGUE?
VOGUE uk has been published since the autumn of
1916 and the publishers are condé Nast publications.
WHEN IS VOGUE RELEASED?
VOGUE uk is released monthly and the may 2013 issue
focus’s on Beyoncé , the latest issue costs £4.10 and 10
issues subscription costs £19.99 plus my free gift.
WHO IS THE TARGET AUIDENCE? Vogue’s target
audience is females in their late twenties to thirties and
vogue successfully achieves the readership of its target
audience because they focus on the latest fashion tips
whereas other magazines focus on global events, beauty
and not so much fashion therefore their target audience
is different.
DO THEY USE CERTAIN TYPES OF MODELS?
Vogue has the common tendency to select both famous
celebrity's and supermodels to model for their magazine.
This can appeal a lot more to the target audience because all
the supermodels and celebrities tend to be around the same
age.
WHAT ISSUES/STORIES DO THEY USUALLY COVER?
Vogue usually highlights the latest fashion tips, reports on
fashion events or offers uncut interviews with famous
celebrities. Vogue doesn’t tend to cover negative global
issues as these stories do not harmonize with their target
audience.
Vogue relies on its advertising which
consequently means they have to maintain
good relationships with other companies.
They achieve this by bombarding the vogue
magazines with advertisements which
ensures there can be equal advertising
opportunities for all the companies,
ensuring the maximum income can be
fulfilled.
