A self-evaluation of how you have used educational software or digital resources to teach a particular topic
which includes an evaluation of the teacher’s (yourself) and student’s performance during the lesson.


I used hkedcity resources to prepare my lesson’s motivation. Since I used a story in a story book for the
lesson, and it is about riddle. So I search from hkedcity resources and get some riddle relevant to the
lesson’s content.


And I made some change for these riddle I had found on the hkedcity resources. I changed the answer of
the riddle in picture. So it will be more interesting for the students.


It was quite good to use the PowerPoint to show the lesson flow to the students. I felt they can easier to
get on the flow in the lesson. And follow the step about the role play. In this lesson, there is many roles
for students to play in the role play. In order to make it clear and easier to understand who is take which
role in the role play. The PowerPoint is playing a very important role in my lesson.


In case, it can be funnier by insert some music in the PowerPoint, but it is not easier to match for the lesson.
And it is because I used storybook for the lesson; there is lack of electronic books function in this lesson.


But the students enjoy guessing the riddle, make the fishing net and love to play in the role play.


I will suggest students to bring the picture they like to stick on the fishing net, it will increase them to
develop the computer skills for searching the picture on the net, and develop their creativity.


After the role play, they have to do the worksheet for expand the nouns vocabulary, it is quite interesting
for them that they can draw some picture and find some nouns by themselves.


Next time I will prepare some card games for them to match the nouns with relevant pictures. Or make
some new riddle on the websites to them by myself.


But they really like playing riddle, so next time I will play the riddle through electronic whiteboard then find
some students to act for the answer they guess.


By divide the students in group to play their riddles they made by computer themselves and have a
competition in class to play riddles games.
