In the afternoon, we are talking about concept of company which it is relieved and the other until
we can conclusion of this day. Industrial Design and Interior Design students assign Engineering
students to search about water heater which save energy and water because now we have
campaign to save energy. So,we must be to find data such as fuctional, working , component and
etc.
Water heater in every company focus to safety because if it has current to user, he may be died in
suddenly. In each company has advantage of product and function for selling point.
Company Detail
Toshiba Analog (don’t tell temperature), no function, 6 safety
Panasonic Analog (don’t tell temperature) and Digital, 9 safety
National Analog ,temperature estimate 33-55 Celsius (moisturize the skin)
Hitachi Digital (tell temperature), save temperature, clock and alarm, 12 safety
*General water heater has power consumption 3.5 kW – 12 kW (use VAC =220 V, f = 50 Hz).
But in recent years, Digital display has
problem about temperature which it
doesn’t match true temperature of
water heater. So, some company
doesn’t sell water heater which it has
digital display.
Engineering Analysis
Strong Point
- Analog display is popular more than digital display.
- Most water heater hasn’t problems with water pressure. Because most homes have a water
pump.
Week Point
- Some water heater using micro-controller for control temperature of thermostat which we
don’t have knowledge.
Next Week Job
I search about data of water heater and begin design it.
