2. The history collection is 4 packed shelves full of
boxes containing photos, slides, albums, menus,
staff newsletters, programs, student brochures, film,
fabrics and newspaper clippings
There are photos and newspaper clippings from
1969 onwards
3. Currently the aim is simply to maintain, protect and
preserve the collection.
Then organise.
Then scan and digitise.
Some photos have already been digitised. A
dedicated Flickr account has been set up to store
these photos.
6. Photos and papers are protected by acid free
polypropylene sleeves and photo albums.
These sleeves are recommended for archival
purposes.
Many photos have been removed from ‘Magnetic’
photo albums and pvc plastic sheathes.
Unfortunately, many more photos are trapped
behind contact covered pages and cannot be easily
removed without damaging the photo.
7. There are options for sharing and displaying the
photos in the future once copyright issues can be
resolved.
