Do not send pictures of yourself to strangers or agree to meet someone you met online, as they may not be who they say they are. Be wary of opening emails or downloading files from unknown sources. Ask your parents' permission before installing programs or downloading content. Cyberbullying involves hurting others using technology and can occur through emails, texts, chat rooms or social media. If you experience cyberbullying, tell a trusted adult and do not engage with or retaliate against the bully. Stay safe online by being careful about what information you share.
