So, copying out the text to make it easier to read, we see (1) the unknown error message, which
doesn’t tell us much, but if we look down a bit further, we see the error message coming back from
the attempt to create the machine on the hypervisor. In this case, we’re getting a
NetworkNotPermitted error and a message that the “NIC device is tied to a disallowed network.” This
tells us that there’s some problem with the network that we’ve selected to use.
So at this point, we went to the PowerShell cmdlet that caused the error take a look at the what
network we’re using. This cmdlet is going to be included in that error details window.
