He might have tried to call while I was out. I might have dropped it in the street.
Conjunctions Conjunctions have three basic forms: Single Word for example: and, but, because, although Compound (often ending with as or that) for example: provided that, as long as, in order that Correlative (surrounding an adverb or adjective) for example: so...that
Latin Expressions in EnglishLatin words and phrases are widely used in English as scientific terms in medicine, biology, law, logic, philosophy and other sciences. But many Latin expressions are familiar and understandable to the general reader. Pronounsare small words that take the place of a noun. We can use a pronoun instead of a noun. Pronouns are words like: he, you, ours, themselves, some, each... The president is too pompous.With pronouns, we can say:Do you like the president? I don't like him. He is too pompous.
Present perfect We use the present perfect when we want to look back from the present to the past. When we look back on the recent past, we often use the words 'just' 'already' or the word 'yet' (in negatives and questions only). It can also be used to look back on the more distant past. When we look back on the more distant past, we often use the words 'ever' (in questions) and 'never'. NOUNS Drinks (coffee, water, orange juice) are usually uncountable. But if we are thinking of a cup or a glass, we can say (in a restaurant, for example):  Two teas and one coffee please.
