9. Ser vs. Estar SER ‘ser’ refers to a permanent condition, mood, or physical characteristic. Conjugations: Soy Eres Es Somos Son “Me llamo Cristina! Soy de Atlanta.” “El chicoesmuyestupido.” Estar ‘estar’ refers to a temporary condition, mood, or physical appearance.
