Saul's Glass Ceilings Anger 1 Sam. 19:10-12 10 And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin: but he slipped away out of Saul's presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night. 11 Saul also sent messengers unto David's house, to watch him, and to slay him in the morning: and Michal David's wife told him, saying, If thou save not thy life to night, to morrow thou shalt be slain. 12 So Michal let David down through a window: and he went, and fled, and escaped. 10 Walang anu-ano, sinibat niya si David. He even tried to sabotage David's efforts by giving David his own heavy armor to wear. Throughout their relationship, Saul often tried to kill David. 33 And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth. His Leadership 33 Sinabi ni Saul, "Hindi mo kaya ang Filisteong 'yon! May gatas ka pa sa labi, samantalang siya'y isang kilabot na mandirigma."

20. David’s Glass Ceiling His Family Over and over David was disrespected and underestimated by all those around him. ( Note : This was the same experience that Timothy had years later - 1 Tim. 4:12 .) His Leadership His Background His Youth and Inexperience 12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 12 Huwag mong bigyang-daan na hamakin ka ninuman dahil sa iyong kabataan. Sa halip, pagsikapan mong maging huwaran ng mga sumasampalataya: sa pananalita, ugali, pag-ibig, pananampalataya, at kabanalan.

22. Operate By Faith And Not By Sight 1 Sam. 17:4-11; 47 . If he was to succeed in that office, it would only happen by the grace of God. He succeeded because God was with him! He is with you too as you attack your " glass ceilings ", Heb. 13:5 . 5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 5 Huwag kayong magmukhang salapi; masiyahan na kayo sa anumang nasa inyo. Sapagkat sinabi ng Diyos, "Hindi kita iiwan ni pababayaan man."

25. Glass Ceilings Can Be Shattered Only By The Power Of God When David faced all the obstacles of his life, he overcame every one of them by the power of God! He defeated Goliath, he saw the defeat of Saul, he overcame the problems of his family, of his background and of his youth and experience by walking, not in his own strength, but in the power of God. This is what God wants us all to do, Eph. 6:10 . 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 10 Sa wakas, magpakatibay kayo sa pamamagitan ng inyong pakikipag-isa sa Panginoon at sa tulong ng dakilang kapangyarihan niya.

Glass Ceilings Can Be Shattered Only By The Power Of God This is how " glass ceilings " are shattered - 2 Cor. 10:3-5; 1 John 5:4 . 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 10 Sa wakas, magpakatibay kayo sa pamamagitan ng inyong pakikipag-isa sa Panginoon at sa tulong ng dakilang kapangyarihan niya. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 4 sapagkat napagtatagumpayan ng bawat anak ng Diyos ang sanlibutan; at nagtatagumpay tayo sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya.
