for your media product?

2. I have aimed my magazine at teenagers from the ages of 13 – 19. I
decided to do this age range because I am within that range so
I know what we look for in magazines and it would be easy to
understand what readers like to read about and how they feel
about it. I decided to aim my magazine mainly at girls because
of the pop theme and boys mainly like to read rock magazines
or others for example, sport, as they aren’t as interested in
music as girls are. I also found it easy on how to aim my
magazine at girls as well and how to make it appeal to them.
I decided to do pop music because I listen to pop music so I had
an idea of what to do in my magazine and how to lay it out as
well. I also knew which other artists my audience would like to
read about and what they would like to read as well. I added in
a sub story about the Brit Awards because it is a big talking
point afterwards and everyone likes to share their opinions on
how should have got what or what they don’t agree on.
