1. The Purge Anarchy
The purge anarchy is based around one night where all
emergency services are suspended for 12 hours and crime is
made legal to citizens and are able to commit all sorts of
crime. However it takes a turn for the worse and death-
dealing avenger becomes the unexpected protector of four
innocent strangers who depend on him for the night.

2. Teaser posters essentially just ‘tease’ and alert
the audience of an upcoming film as shown
on the poster aside. This teaser poster only
gives away the name itself which makes the
film recognised as a brand. The poster also
gives an idea of the genre of the film as it
features an intimidating individual on the
cover and a dark colour scheme which
immediately gives it the horror element. They
have incorporated red into the colour scheme
which connotes blood and murder, in
addition the dark colour scheme connotes fear
and dread.

3. Here shows the main poster for The
Purge Anarchy differently to the teaser
poster it features more. This main poster
features an actual release date, the film
distributors, the cast of the film social
media platforms and billing block. This
could interest more by having the social
media platforms featured it will enable
the audience to find out more about the
film additionally having the cast now
featured, the audience may recognise
previous actors and actresses that they
liked in previous films.

 This particular teaser trailer warns the audience of an
upcoming trailer which will allow the audience to find
out more of the story line to the film and what the
follow up will be from the first film in the sequence.

film. This is promotion as it covers more of the film
than all of the marketing.

weekend.
