HUATULCO, MEXICO
HUATULCO, MEXICO
• On the Pacific Coast of Mexico, southeast of Acapulco,
Huatulco is a 22-mile stretch of coastline with nine magnificent
bays and 36 beaches. Great for fishing, Huatulco also offers
true peace and tranquility on its miles of secluded beaches,
tucked away and waiting to be discovered. Many of the bays
are only accessible by sea, and a perfect day excursion on
the tranquil waters is awaiting.

• For water sports fans, Huatulco offers deep-sea fishing and
snorkeling. Land lovers can take in the environment by bike or
on horseback. There's plenty of tennis, an 18-hole golf course
and two shopping areas on Tangolunda Bay. Take a day trip
and visit La Entrega, a protected marine park with a long
coral reef and natural aquarium with more than 700 species of
colorful marine life. Diving enthusiasts can enjoy the reefs off
Chacahua Bay and La Montosa Islands.
HUATULCO, MEXICO
• Today you'll find Huatulco is still one of Mexico’s most
relaxed destinations. The centerpiece of Huatulco’s
charm is a series of nine bays, encompassing 36
beaches and numerous inlets and coves, each with its
own unique setting and ecology. All are noted for their
dream-like beaches of golden sand and crystal clear
water, yet the bays remain delightfully unspoiled,
sometimes accessible only by boat.
• In Huatulco, you'll find your senses drawn momentarily
away from the ocean by another of the area's greatest
charms: coffee. Close to the beautiful beaches are the
coffee plantations of Pluma Hidalgo where one of
Mexico's best coffees is produced. The unmistakable
coffee aroma, the surprising landscapes of Oaxaca’s
sierra mountains and the people working this beautiful
land offer you a warm and delicious welcome.
HUATULCO, MEXICO
• What to do after a day of sun and fun at Bahias de Huatulco?
The evenings are cooler and ideal for a relaxing stroll,
refreshing yourself for the adventures of the following day. At
Huatulco, most visitors opt for a visit to La Crucecita, the
picturesque little town located at the heart of Bahia Santa
Cruz, where the warm and spontaneous atmosphere of
Oaxaca’s coast can be felt first-hand. Tours depart from La
Crucecita to the other main bays of Huatulco, making it a
central point on any visit to the coast. You'll also be in the
ideal place to sample some of the region’s traditional dishes,
from seafood and fish to traditional Oaxacan recipes, finishing
off your meal with a local mezcal, the traditional – and strong
– regional drink made from agave. A delicious ice cream or a
fruit drink can accompany you on one of the most enjoyable
missions of any visit to La Crucecita: handcraft shopping.

HUATULCO EXCURSIONS
• Huatulco Discovery

• Begin this journey with a stop for some breathtaking views of the
Bay of Tangolunda, the popular resort area. From there you will
visit the downtown of La Crucecita, the Zocalo (central park),
and the beautiful church dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe,
where you will see the world's largest painting of the Virgin.
Proceed to the marina of Santa Cruz and board a catamaran to
enjoy one of the highlights of Huatulco—its wonderful shoreline,
composed of several small bays with more than 36 beaches
scattered between cliffs and mountains. While leaving the Santa
Cruz Bay you will pass the historical Entrega Beach and head
eastward to see the Bay of Chahué with its 3 beautiful beaches
and a marina for private sailboats and yachts. From there you
will go to La Bufadora (the blowhole) and take a closer look from
the ocean of this natural feature. The trip will continue to the
secluded Bay of Organo and the more commercial Bay of
Maguey, where you will have free time to swim, snorkel, or have
lunch at one of the several restaurants located on it. Upon your
return, you will look back upon an unforgettable experience
during your stay in Huatulco
HUATULCO EXCURSIONS
• Magic Waterfalls, Coffee Plantation, and Butterflies Tour

• This tour explores Oaxaca's beautiful Sierra region, home of one of
Mexico's richest coffees and a large variety of tropical flora. En
route to the Finca (or plantation) you will enjoy breathtaking
views, and will pass Santa Maria Xadani, a quaint little village,
almost untouched by the modern world for more than 400 years,
and dominated by an old colonial Spanish church.
• Later, you will arrive at the Magic Waterfalls of Llano Grande, a
truly magical place. The clear waters of the Copalita River have
molded these beautiful waterfalls and where you can take a funfilled swim at the base of one of the many Magic Waterfalls.
Continuing on, you will arrive at a rustic coffee plantation house.
Here, you are a welcomed guest of the family of La Gloria and
their coffee plantation is yours to explore. You will have the
opportunity to learn all about the amazing organic coffee, before
tasting it yourself.
• Located on the same premises you will find a butterfly sanctuary
created for conservation The open-air sanctuary was built recently
and houses more than 50 species of butterflies and a large variety
of plants typical for the region.
HUATULCO EXCURSIONS
• Puerto Angel, Mazunte, and Zipolite Beach

• As a large number of marine turtles swim to the Oaxaca shores to lay
their eggs every year, Mazunte was chosen in 1991 as the site for the
Mexican Turtle Centre. This laboratory and aquarium is dedicated to the
study, protection, and preservation of sea turtles.
• On this tour, your first stop will be to visit a small, cottage industry and
cosmetics factory, set up in Mexico by The Body Shop which is now
exporting their products around the world. Here you may buy facial
masks, creams, shampoo, soaps and oils, prepared only with natural
ingredients. You may also buy handcrafts made by the children with
disabilities of Pina Palmera, a children's shelter that was built in 1986 for
children with disabilities. The next stop will be at the Mexican Turtle Center
in Mazunte where you can see and learn about some of the world's
endangered species of turtles.
• Next, a scenic drive will bring you to Zipolite Beach for a great sightseeing
opportunity. From there you will continue to pass through the heart of
Puerto Angel, a peaceful and laid-back fishing village situated in hilly
terrain on the Oaxaca coast. Here you will have time enjoy a delicious
lunch or snack at the famous Cordelia's restaurant and spend the rest of
the day relaxing on the beach.

PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
• Occupying the eastern portion of the lush island of Hispaniola, the
Dominican Republic vacation offers a vibrant travel destination
whose endless charms bring the island’s admirers back to vacation
time and again. The flawless beaches and sparkling cobalt waters
of the Dominican Republic are nature’s gift to visitors on vacation.
• And whether your vacation includes enjoying the unspoiled beauty
of the Dominican Republic from a sailboat, surfboard or horseback,
you’ll be enthralled with the beauty of your vacation experience.
• There’s plenty to explore while on vacation on the charismatic
island of the Dominican Republic, where old world flavors and
long-standing colonial traditions rest side by side with the
contemporary rhythms of the Caribbean.
• And for the truly inspired, be certain to take in a baseball game the national passion of Dominican Republic.
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Language Spoken: Spanish is the official language of the
Dominican Republic. English is spoken by tourism staff, however,
knowing a little basic Spanish is particularly helpful in the interior.
Signs and menus are generally in Spanish.
Water: Drink only bottled water. Never drink water from the tap
unless it has been thoroughly boiled. Fresh, bottled water is
available almost everywhere on the island but if you venture off
the beaten track you may have to stock up. Look for the words
filtrada and purificada on the bottle's label.
Security: Most areas of Puerto Plata are safe for visitors but
precautions should be taken, especially at night and in the
poorer sections of Santo Domingo and Sosua. Avoid unmarked
street taxis and hustlers who attempt to offer their services as
guides. Pickpockets, street hustlers, and muggers target tourists.
Do not leave valuables unattended on the beach or in cars.
Large amounts of money and other valuables are usually best
kept in a hotel safe.
PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
• Punta Cana's 20 miles of pearl-white sand beaches
merged with sapphire-blue waters creates scenery
surpassed by no other. This sparkling gem in the
Caribbean not only offers an impeccable
ambiance, but also luxurious resorts, fine dining, and
a wide variety of activities. Punta Cana features the
longest coral reef in the whole island (about 19
miles long). Divers and snorkelers of all experience
levels can explore reef caverns and nearby
Catalina and Saona Islands. For land lovers, there
are challenging golf courses, tennis courts,
horseback riding, bicycling, or you can soar high
above land and water on a parasailing ride.

  • 1. HONEYMOON M A R C H 2 3 RD- 2 8 TH
  • 2. DETAILS • All prices shown are quotes only and subject to change at any time without notice. To secure the price shown a deposit must be made. • Deposits start at $150 per person. • Final payment due 45 days prior to travel. • Price includes flights, hotel, all-inclusive amenities as stated, transportation between airport and hotel, tips and taxes for two. • Additional room categories available. • Excursions can be booked anytime prior to departure or on arrival to resort. • Travel insurance not included in price but highly recommended for all travel. Quotes upon request.
  • 6. HUATULCO, MEXICO • On the Pacific Coast of Mexico, southeast of Acapulco, Huatulco is a 22-mile stretch of coastline with nine magnificent bays and 36 beaches. Great for fishing, Huatulco also offers true peace and tranquility on its miles of secluded beaches, tucked away and waiting to be discovered. Many of the bays are only accessible by sea, and a perfect day excursion on the tranquil waters is awaiting. • For water sports fans, Huatulco offers deep-sea fishing and snorkeling. Land lovers can take in the environment by bike or on horseback. There's plenty of tennis, an 18-hole golf course and two shopping areas on Tangolunda Bay. Take a day trip and visit La Entrega, a protected marine park with a long coral reef and natural aquarium with more than 700 species of colorful marine life. Diving enthusiasts can enjoy the reefs off Chacahua Bay and La Montosa Islands.
  • 7. HUATULCO, MEXICO • Today you'll find Huatulco is still one of Mexico’s most relaxed destinations. The centerpiece of Huatulco’s charm is a series of nine bays, encompassing 36 beaches and numerous inlets and coves, each with its own unique setting and ecology. All are noted for their dream-like beaches of golden sand and crystal clear water, yet the bays remain delightfully unspoiled, sometimes accessible only by boat. • In Huatulco, you'll find your senses drawn momentarily away from the ocean by another of the area's greatest charms: coffee. Close to the beautiful beaches are the coffee plantations of Pluma Hidalgo where one of Mexico's best coffees is produced. The unmistakable coffee aroma, the surprising landscapes of Oaxaca’s sierra mountains and the people working this beautiful land offer you a warm and delicious welcome.
  • 8. HUATULCO, MEXICO • What to do after a day of sun and fun at Bahias de Huatulco? The evenings are cooler and ideal for a relaxing stroll, refreshing yourself for the adventures of the following day. At Huatulco, most visitors opt for a visit to La Crucecita, the picturesque little town located at the heart of Bahia Santa Cruz, where the warm and spontaneous atmosphere of Oaxaca’s coast can be felt first-hand. Tours depart from La Crucecita to the other main bays of Huatulco, making it a central point on any visit to the coast. You'll also be in the ideal place to sample some of the region’s traditional dishes, from seafood and fish to traditional Oaxacan recipes, finishing off your meal with a local mezcal, the traditional – and strong – regional drink made from agave. A delicious ice cream or a fruit drink can accompany you on one of the most enjoyable missions of any visit to La Crucecita: handcraft shopping.
  • 10. SECRETS HUATULCO RESORT & SPA • • • • 4.5 Star Resort All-Inclusive Adult-Only Conejos Bay, with its golden sand, beautiful rock formations and sapphire waters, welcomes Secrets Huatulco Resort & Spa. The exclusive amenities of Unlimited-Luxury begin with limitless meals, snacks and premium beverages, pool and beach wait service, and 24-hour room and concierge service, all without the wristband that many resorts require. 399 gorgeous suites provide guests with daily refreshed premium mini bar and spectacular views, while select suites offer furnished patios, balconies, terrace Jacuzzis, or swim-out pool access. Enjoy activities including windsurfing and snorkeling, and nightly entertainment to area excursions. Guests will indulge in some of the finest international fare at any of the gourmet restaurants, all without reservations. From there you will visit the downtown of La Crucecita, the Zocalo (central park), and the beautiful church dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe, where you will see the world's largest painting of the Virgin. Proceed to the marina of Santa Cruz and board a catamaran to enjoy one of the highlights of Huatulco—its wonderful shoreline, composed of several small bays with more than 36 beaches scattered between cliffs and mountains. While leaving the Santa Cruz Bay you will pass the historical Entrega Beach and head eastward to see the Bay of Chahué with its 3 beautiful beaches and a marina for private sailboats and yachts. From there you will go to La Bufadora (the blowhole) and take a closer look from the ocean of this natural feature. The trip will continue to the secluded Bay of Organo and the more commercial Bay of Maguey, where you will have free time to swim, snorkel, or have lunch at one of the several restaurants located on it. Upon your return, you will look back upon an unforgettable experience during your stay in Huatulco
  • 27. HUATULCO EXCURSIONS • Magic Waterfalls, Coffee Plantation, and Butterflies Tour • This tour explores Oaxaca's beautiful Sierra region, home of one of Mexico's richest coffees and a large variety of tropical flora. En route to the Finca (or plantation) you will enjoy breathtaking views, and will pass Santa Maria Xadani, a quaint little village, almost untouched by the modern world for more than 400 years, and dominated by an old colonial Spanish church. • Later, you will arrive at the Magic Waterfalls of Llano Grande, a truly magical place. The clear waters of the Copalita River have molded these beautiful waterfalls and where you can take a funfilled swim at the base of one of the many Magic Waterfalls. Continuing on, you will arrive at a rustic coffee plantation house. Here, you are a welcomed guest of the family of La Gloria and their coffee plantation is yours to explore. You will have the opportunity to learn all about the amazing organic coffee, before tasting it yourself. • Located on the same premises you will find a butterfly sanctuary created for conservation The open-air sanctuary was built recently and houses more than 50 species of butterflies and a large variety of plants typical for the region.
  • 28. HUATULCO EXCURSIONS • Puerto Angel, Mazunte, and Zipolite Beach • As a large number of marine turtles swim to the Oaxaca shores to lay their eggs every year, Mazunte was chosen in 1991 as the site for the Mexican Turtle Centre. This laboratory and aquarium is dedicated to the study, protection, and preservation of sea turtles. • On this tour, your first stop will be to visit a small, cottage industry and cosmetics factory, set up in Mexico by The Body Shop which is now exporting their products around the world. Here you may buy facial masks, creams, shampoo, soaps and oils, prepared only with natural ingredients. You may also buy handcrafts made by the children with disabilities of Pina Palmera, a children's shelter that was built in 1986 for children with disabilities. The next stop will be at the Mexican Turtle Center in Mazunte where you can see and learn about some of the world's endangered species of turtles. • Next, a scenic drive will bring you to Zipolite Beach for a great sightseeing opportunity. From there you will continue to pass through the heart of Puerto Angel, a peaceful and laid-back fishing village situated in hilly terrain on the Oaxaca coast. Here you will have time enjoy a delicious lunch or snack at the famous Cordelia's restaurant and spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach.

  • 55. DOMINICAN REPUBLIC Language Spoken: Spanish is the official language of the Dominican Republic. English is spoken by tourism staff, however, knowing a little basic Spanish is particularly helpful in the interior. Signs and menus are generally in Spanish. Water: Drink only bottled water. Never drink water from the tap unless it has been thoroughly boiled. Fresh, bottled water is available almost everywhere on the island but if you venture off the beaten track you may have to stock up. Look for the words filtrada and purificada on the bottle's label. Security: Most areas of Puerto Plata are safe for visitors but precautions should be taken, especially at night and in the poorer sections of Santo Domingo and Sosua. Avoid unmarked street taxis and hustlers who attempt to offer their services as guides. Pickpockets, street hustlers, and muggers target tourists. Do not leave valuables unattended on the beach or in cars. Large amounts of money and other valuables are usually best kept in a hotel safe.
