NEW AUTO CRAFTS FEES TO TAKE EFFECT, today:
A new fee structure, reflecting rising operating and parts costs, will take effect Jan. 3, 2013, at
Libby Auto Crafts on Fort Stewart and Hunter Auto Crafts on Hunter. The fee increases are
necessary to allow the facilities to upgrade services and materials. For more information, please

CI RECRUITING TEAM BRIEF, Jan. 24:
The U.S. Army's CI Special Agent recruiting team will be conducting two information briefings
at SFC Paul R. Smith Education Center on Fort Stewart, from 9-10 a.m. and 10:30-11:30 a.m.
These briefings will provide information concerning career field MOS 35L, CI Special Agent,
to include criteria for entry into the MOS and how to apply for reclassification. Questions or

MARNE TAX CENTER OPENS JAN 25:
Tax season is almost here! The Marne Tax Centers at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield
will be open for service Jan. 25 through April 30. Tax preparers will be available to assist
Soldiers, Family Members, and retirees from the hours of 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
4. The Tax Centers will also begin full service assistance for walk-in or drop-off returns Jan. 25.
Please bring military IDs and Social Security Cards, all statements of income (i.e., W-2 forms
and 1099 forms), rental property documents, mortgage interest statements, etc. For more

3rd ID and tenant unit Soldiers interested in competing for the Commanding General’s Green to
Gold Hip Pocket Scholarship Program will submit a nomination packet to their unit S-1.
Completed nomination packets are due to the MSE G-1 NLT Feb. 1. The CG, 3ID will
consider nominations and forward the FSGA nominations to Cadet Command by 1 Apr 13.

Musical Salute To MLK, Jan. 15:
The Jewish Educational Alliance will be host to the Fifteenth Annual, “A Musical Salute to Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr.” on Tuesday, January 15th at 7 p.m., at the Jewish Educational
Alliance, 5111 Abercorn St, Savannah, Ga. There will be a dessert reception at intermission.
The concert is free and open to the community thanks to the support of the Savannah Jewish
