                        FREE ADMISSION FOR PGA GOLF EVENT, April 18-21
 Active duty military personnel and their Family Members over the age of 16 are offered Free Admission to the
 RCB Heritage Golf Tournament, 11 a.m. daily, April 18-21 on Hilton Head Island. They can also receive free
   refreshments at the Patriots’ Outpost Skybox at the 16th hole with a valid active duty ID. For additional

                                          PGA PARTICIPANTS:
 Jack Nicklaus, Ben Crenshaw, Tom Watson, Gary Player, Fred Couples, Jay Haas, Bernhard Langer and Tom
    Lehman are a few of the stars who will play in the 2013 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament in
 Savannah Apr. 26-28. Members of the Armed Forces are invited to serve as Standard Bearers during play on
 Saturday, 27 APR, and Sunday, 28 APR. Standard Bearers walk with the pros and carry the signs that list the
   tournament leaders. Standard Bearers receive many other perks, as well. The LMLG Tournament will be
 broadcast on the Golf Channel and CBS. If you wish to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, call
                                     315-3739 by COB Friday, April 19.

                             TAX CENTER TEMPORARY CLOSURE, April 19:
The Marne Tax Center will be closed 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 19. The tax center will resume after. A full
staff will remain until April 29. Afterwards you can contact the legal assistance office 767-8809 or 8819.

                                       TELL ME A STORY, Apr 21
 COL Ronald J Place will be the event guest reader for Tell Me A Story (TMAS), 3 p.m. April 21 April in the
Winn ACH Patriot Auditorium. He will be reading "Night Catch" by Brenda Ehrmantraut. This story reminds
us that even when we are separated by many miles, the things we do as Families become our Family story and
keep us connected. Event is FREE, but space is limited! POC for this event is Jenny Rasmussen 706-662-8905

                          FREE ADMISSION FOR PGA EVENT, April 22-28:
Active duty military personnel, Reserve and military retirees along with their Family members are offered free
   admission to the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament, 11 a.m. daily, April 22-28 at the Westin
   Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa with a valid ID. A Military Appreciation Ceremony is scheduled
Saturday, April, 27 on the 18th green after play ends at 3 p.m. Free site parking and access to Brave Patriots’
Outpost Friday through Saturday, near the 17th green, for free food and beverage. For additional information,

                                        CEMETERY VISIT, April 24:
 Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield and the Fort Stewart Historic Communities Council conducts their Spring
Cemetery visit, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., April 24. Visits will be to Sand Hill, Congregational, Smith Chapel and
Smith Cemeteries. A lunch opportunity will be offered at an installation dining facility, followed by a visit to a
unit motor pool. Space is limited so reservations are required. The lunch cost is $4.60 for adults or $3.80 for

 FREE WILD WING CAFÉ RIVER CLUB AND GROUNDS ACCESS TICKETS FOR PGA EVENT,
                                                   April 26-28:
   In addition to FREE admission to the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament April 22-28, a limited
number of FREE tickets are available to active duty military personnel, reservist and retirees to the Wild Wing
  Café River Club and Grounds Access Hospitality Area. Tickets will be available at both the FS and HAAF
 Leisure Travel Offices on Thursday, April 18 starting at 0930 for Military ID card holders only, 2 per family.
Wild Wing Café River Club is located adjacent to the clubhouse and practice green, the River Club Pavilion is a
  climate-controlled, shared hospitality pavilion, that offers a variety of food for purchase, premium cash bar,
 large screen televisions and real-time scoring kiosks so that you can track your favorite golfer on the course.
The River Club Pavilion gives you the perfect view of players as they tee off on the 10th and 1st tee for the day.

                                            TRAFFIC DELAYS:
   Expect delays on West 18th Street and Bundy Ave, April 23 to June 13. Lane closures may be necessary to
    expand/route purple pipe from Taylor's Creek Golf Course to Marne View Housing Area. Delays may be
  incurred due to movement of construction vehicles and materials. Please plan accordingly for the delays and
slow down and be aware of the workers and equipment in the area. POC is Kevin Montano, DPW at 767-4937.


                             HAAF GAS PLANS WEEKEND CLOSURE:
   Beginning April 27, the Hunter Gas Kiosk will be closed on weekends. Regular hours are 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
           Mondays-Fridays. For additional information, contact Glenda Riecke, 912-354-4770.

            OPTOMETRY APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE FOR FAMILY MEMBERS:
  The Optometry Clinic at Winn Army Community Hospital now has appointments available for Active Duty
   Family Members, Retirees and Retired Family Members. Hours are 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Call 435-6633 to
                                         schedule an appointment.

                             ACS RELOCATION NEWCOMER'S SCHEDULE:
    Are you a new arrival to Fort Stewart? Get to know the great support agencies and installation staff by
  attending the ACS Newcomer’s Brief. Please call FS ACS at 767-5058 to register. The brief is conducted
       every first and third Thursday of the month and includes a tour of the Installation and Hinesville.

            WHEELS DAY CELEBRATES MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD, April 19:
  Youngsters get a chance to explore and learn about safety vehicles and other vehicles their Moms and Dads
drive and maintain, on April 19 from 9 a.m.-noon at CDC, building 403. Event helps celebrate April as Month
 of the Military Child. Community is invited. There is no charge. Face-painting and craft activities will add to

LADIES ON THE LINKS 5 AT HUNTER GOLF COURSE, April 20, 27:
   (Register by April 19) Free clinics for women April 20 and April 27 from 9-10 a.m. at Hunter Golf Course,
building 8205. There is no charge. Day 1 focuses on putting mechanics, the short game and golf club rules. Day
2 focuses on full swing mechanics, plus rules and the history of golf. For more information, call 912-315-9115.

                                   BOSS CAR AND BIKE SHOW, April 20:
  Show from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Paul E. Smith Education Center. Open to the public. Admission $1 per person.
Participant fees are $20 per vehicle and $15 per bike; group rate with more than 10 vehicles $15 and more than
 10 bikes $10. Late registration, starting today (April 15), is $30 for both vehicle and bike. More information:

                             TODDLER EARTH DAY AT CORKAN, April 22:
 Toddlers are invited to join Corkan Family Recreation Area staff in the yearly planting of the Toddler's Earth
Day Flower Bed at Cypress Creek, building 448, April 22 from 10-11:30 a.m.. Come on out, have fun and help

                 2013 INTRAMURAL SOFTBALL LEAGUE AT STEWART, April 22:
   (Register by April 18.) Companies interested in playing need to submit a memo to Bennett Sports office,
   building 471. There’s no charge. Season starts April 22, with games at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Monday through
    Thursday. Here is a chance to play softball and prove who has the best team on Fort Stewart. For more

                                         FOOD HANDLER'S CLASS:
 Winn Army Community Hospital will conduct a free food-handler's class in the Patriot Auditorium from 9-10

              GARRISON COMMANDER'S GOLF SCRAMBLE AT STEWART, April 26:
 (Register by April 24.) Col. Kevin Gregory extends an invitation to participate in his golf scramble April 26 at
  Taylors Creek Golf Course. Play begins at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start and will be limited to the first 25 four-
  person teams. The cost is $35 per Active Duty Soldier, Retiree, Army Civilian, and Taylors Creek or Hunter
                 Club Member, or $45 per civilian guest. For more information, call 767-2370.

                                 OKEFENOKEE SWAMP TRIP, April 27:
(Register by April 24.) Be face-to-face with the inhabitants and scenery of the majestic Okefenokee Swamp on
 this Leisure Travel trip to Waycross, Ga. Enjoy train ride and demonstration with snakes and alligators. Trip

                                    JACKSONVILLE ZOO TRIP, May 4:
  (Register by April 22) See wild animals of South America, South Africa, Australia, and even Florida while
    visiting the Jacksonville Zoo park and gardens May 4 at 9 a.m. with Leisure Travel. Attractions include
Stingray Bay, Giraffe Overlook, and a 4,000-square-foot splash ground and park. Cost is $23 for adults, $17 for

It will be a perfect day Saturday to go out and assist with the Beautification Day at Richmond Hill High School,
  from 8 a.m.-noon. Bring your rakes and any type of garden equipment to meet your neighbors and make new
friends, while cleaning, pruning, planting flowers and shrubs. The school is located at the corner of Harris Trail

PGA PARTICIPANTS: Jack Nicklaus, Ben Crenshaw, Tom Watson, Gary Player, Fred Couples, Jay Haas, Bernhard Langer and Tom Lehman are a few of the stars who will play in the 2013 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament in Savannah Apr. 26-28. Members of the Armed Forces are invited to serve as Standard Bearers during play on Saturday, 27 APR, and Sunday, 28 APR. Standard Bearers walk with the pros and carry the signs that list the tournament leaders. Standard Bearers receive many other perks, as well. FREE WILD WING CAFÉ RIVER CLUB AND GROUNDS ACCESS TICKETS FOR PGA EVENT, April 26-28: In addition to FREE admission to the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf Tournament April 22-28, a limited number of FREE tickets are available to active duty military personnel, reservist and retirees to the Wild Wing Café River Club and Grounds Access Hospitality Area. Tickets will be available at both the FS and HAAF Leisure Travel Offices on Thursday, April 18 starting at 0930 for Military ID card holders only, 2 per family. Wild Wing Café River Club is located adjacent to the clubhouse and practice green, the River Club Pavilion is a climate-controlled, shared hospitality pavilion, that offers a variety of food for purchase, premium cash bar, large screen televisions and real-time scoring kiosks so that you can track your favorite golfer on the course. TRAFFIC DELAYS: Expect delays on West 18th Street and Bundy Ave, April 23 to June 13. Lane closures may be necessary to expand/route purple pipe from Taylor's Creek Golf Course to Marne View Housing Area. Delays may be incurred due to movement of construction vehicles and materials.
