  1. Don’t let your slides be too busy and distract from the information being presentedYou should have more personal involvement than the slides themselves
  2. Make the text and bullet points short and to the pointLimiting text makes it easier for the audience to grasp the main point you’re making
  3. Too much animation will bore viewers
  4. Quality graphics make the presentation unique, interesting, and easier for the audience to connect to
  5. Don’t use powerpoint templates!When audiences see the same boring template over and over again, they tend to lose focus
