1. Oakland Raider linebacker arrested and faced
with assault and misdemeanor charges
Arrested last Thursday is Rolando McClain, the
linebacker for Oakland riders, on the basis of
various misdemeanor assaults, possession of
firearms, and several more charges after police
claimed he fired a gun during a heated
argument in his hometown in Alabama. Based
on an initial investigation, McClain put the gun
to the head of an unknown man during the
altercation who repeatedly begged the
linebacker to not shoot him.
According to a report released by Lt. John
Crouch of the Decatur Police Department,
‘moved the gun but fired a single shot just
beside the man’s left ear’. It ahs also been
stated that no one has been shot but police claims to witness an injured man driving himself to a
hospital. McClain was immediately arrested but was released later on after paying $2,000.
Though he is free to roam about, McClain faces grave charges on frustrated homicide, reckless
endangerment and firing inside the city borders. Right after getting out of prison, McClain has been
sighted going in and out of law firms, probably finding the best lawyer to defend him during court
proceedings.
With the case of the man, he is very much free to file a lawsuit against McClain as he is a victim of a
