Choose your login Option

For this Tutorial, let’s use
Facebook

Login with your Facebook
credentials

Adobe Spark will ask for
additional info. Follow the
prompts and you will be re-
directed to your dashboard.

Hover your mouse to the left side,
this is the Menu bar

For This Tutorial, Let’s
Choose “Post”

You will be asked to fill up these
two before proceeding

Type your Photo Caption Here

For Social Media platform / size
let’s choose facebook

Click Continue

Spark Will Initialize

This is your Canvas. Adobe Automatically
creates a background image for you

You can choose your desired Theme from
this area. Scroll Down.

Scroll Down and Choose this

The Design has changed

The Resize Menu allows you to change
social media platform anytime

The Palette Menu let’s you choose
pre-defined colors

Let’s Choose this

The Design Has Changed

You can modify the background from here

You can Opt to replace the background
image or modify the color

Scroll Down and Choose this color

The Design has Changed

Click Text Menu to open Text options

Click Edit to modify your caption if
necessary

In this tutorial, let’s add text

Type your addendum Text and click Save

Click on “- Tim Ferris” To highlight it

Reduce the font size by dragging the
circles on the selection corners

Change the Font style by
clicking this in the menu

Let’s Choose This Font

Chang the position of both captions by
clicking and dragging them

Enhance your Design by Adding Shapes

Let’s Choose This Shape

Click Save to proceed

Take a moment to view your latest
masterpiece

Share or save your work by clicking
“Share” at the top

Click “Download” To save File to Computer

To Share on social media click “create link”

To share within your social networks click
your icon of choice below

Now Let’s make an Adobe Spark Video!

Hover the Left Menu Tab and Click Video

Create a Title of your Story
(or you can skip and do this later)

Choose a Template or you can opt to start
from Scratch

Let’s Choose “Personal Growth”

This will be your Video Canvas

This is the Current Slide ready for editing

You can Select your Theme
from the right Menu bar

Choose the “Impact Theme”

Preview and Choose your music from the
Music Menu Bar

This are the slides with guides to help you with
your content based on the template chosen

In our case we already have content based from
Chapter 13 of Tim Ferris Best Seller
“The 4 Hour Work Week”

Let’s use this short entry as
the content of this tutorial:
EXISTENTIAL PLEAS AND RESIGNATIONS MAD LIBS.

Dear (preferred deity of choice),
Last night, after drinking seven shots of (least favorite hard liquor) and
snorting enough (drug) to make (politician) blush, it became clear;
It really is them, and not me.

Click on the Backdrop (#1) slide to start
creating the video

You can choose layouts from this tab.
In this tutorial, let use all layouts to
familiarize you with the options

Go to Layout and choose “one thing”

Click the “+” on the canvas and you can add
only one thing – icon, photo or text, choose text

Type the Title of our entry here

Go To slide #2

Choose “Two things” from Layout

Click the left box and Choose “text”

Type the caption from the book

For the second box lets choose Photo

Choose your Photo Source, in this
case we upload our own

Choose your image and
click open to upload

This is now your current slide

Go to slide #3 and choose “Thing +
Caption” From layout

Click the lower box the add the caption

In the Upper box choose “photo” and
upload image of choice from computer

This is now your Current Slide

Go to Slide #4 and choose “Thing +
Caption” Again from layout

Add the lower box caption with text (Adobe will
automatically resize font based on length)

Add photo to the top box

This is your Current Slide

For the 5th slide let’s Choose “Thing + Full
Photo” from Layout

Add photo by clicking on the
“+” on the left side

Now that photo has been added, click “+”
to add text in the middle

Add the necessary text

Slide now updated

For Slide #6, let’s choose “one thing” from
layout again

Add “text” and supply needed captions

You can add voice-overs per slide by
clicking on the microphone icon

Increase time duration of slide by dragging time
slider at lower right. Currently we are at
2 seconds for this current slide

Preview the Current Slide by clicking the
Play button at the lower left

Or preview your entire video by clicking
“preview at the top”

Here is the sample of the preview with music of
your choice (note: video is 18 seconds)

To Download or share Video, Click Share

Adobe will Initialize processing your video

Click Download to Save to computer

Or click “create link” and choose category
to share

You can now share to any of your social
media networks

Here is the completed video I made from this
Tutorial. It is 2:26 minutes long, 41 slides and
has a voice over from the Audiobook.

I attached it to the same web page of this
Tutorial, embedded from Youtube.
