1. Jeopardy Instructions
Group 1 – Complete the Jeopardy chart (slides 3-27)
with the phrases like “Albany is the Capital of this
state”. $100 slides should be easier than $500 slides.
Group 2 – Study the list of 50 States/Capitals while
Group 1 compiles/fills in the Jeopardy game below.
After completing this Jeopardy review, both groups
will switch places and take the role previously held by
the other group. Instead, Group 2 will now use the
phrase like “New York’s State Capital is”.
Both groups will create an answer sheet separate from
this PowerPoint.
As opposed to a traditional jeopardy game, I thought this would add a fun twist that would allow students some good study time, as well as an additional way to help them review using two styles of questions. One style may be easier for some students than the other, allowing them to feel more comfortable with the information.
