12. Internship Requirements for all BBA’s
• 160 contact hours over 6 weeks, minimum
• Average length is 10 weeks
• Only 1 internship course will count towards degree
• Internship must be a professional business opportunity related to
the students’ career goals and major
• Supervisor must submit an online evaluation at the end of the
internship
• Internships must occur over the summer and not during academic
year for BBAs unless internship is located in Austin

13. Offer Guidelines – Intern & FT
• Fall Recruiting (August – December)
– 3 weeks from written offer
• Spring Recruiting (January – May)
– Before April 1: 3 weeks from written offer
– After April 1: 2 weeks from written offer
• Internship to Full-time Offers:
– Employment offers to students who recently completed an
internship with your company should remain open until the
3rd Friday in October (October 18) or for a minimum of 3
weeks from the date of the written offer, whichever date is
later.

Reminders:
• The University of Texas does not allow us to post
positions that require students soliciting on campus on
behalf of companies.
• We cannot post Campus Ambassador positions.
• According to UT Legal Affairs and the Dean of Students
Student Activity and Leadership Development Office, any
activity on campus to recruit in an undesignated public space;
to market or promote any unapproved products or services;
and to collect student information on campus without
authorization is considered soliciting.
