Romeo passionately obsessed over Rosaline Benvolio and Mercutio take him to the Capulets’ party to meet other women Sees Juliet. Passionately in love at first sight. Forgets Rosaline. Goes to Juliet after party. Passionate love-talk. Make plans to marry the next day. Tries to make peace with Tybalt. Won’t fight. Gets beat up. Mercutio steps in to fight for him. Romeo stops Mercutio from fighting Tybalt. Tybalt kills Mercutio while Romeo’s distracting him. Romeo kills Tybalt in a fit of passionate rage. Romeo is banished Reacts passionately to mistaken rumor that Juliet is dead. Returns to Verona, kills himself in a fit of passion. Juliet sees Romeo dead in the crypt when she awakens. Juliet kills herself in a fit of passion over Romeo’s death.
