7. At John Paul Academy in 2009-10 all of our Sixth Year pupils signed up for the Millennium Awards scheme. This is a national scheme which promotes and recognises goodness and service, key components of Christian Leadership.

8. At John Paul Academy in 2010-11 all of our Sixth Year pupils who successfully complete our Leadership Course will receive their Leadership NQ at Higher Level.

9. In addition in 2010-11 we are offering a new 160 hour Higher Personal Development

10. This will mean that you will be able to complete brilliant UCAS forms and job applications at least on a par with pupils from any other school

11. We will explicitly teach S6 pupils about leadership, constantly remind you that you are and will be leaders, introduce you to leaders, set up leadership experiences and invite you to reflect on and learn from these. How ?
