1. •Most survey results are from teenagers between the
age of 13-18. This is really useful as this is my target
audience age range.
2. • Survey results show that most of the
answers come from female respondents,
this may affect the colour scheme. I have
deliberately focussed on both male and
female respondents as I want my
magazine to appeal to both genders.
3. • Kerrang magazine is clearly the most popular magazine
for my target audience. Second is metal hammer. This
will influence my design content and layout.
4. • The answers are also very varied in this
question so maybe the best idea would be
to alternate the free gifts in every issue.
5. • The most popular price range is £2-£3 in
this question.
Therefore the price will be somewhere
between the lines of £2 and £3 .
6. • Everyone who has answered the survey
attends gigs, as no-one has chosen the
“other” option.
Therefore gig review would most likely be
included.
7. • Interviews with bands are the most
popular element therefore this will
definitely be included.
• This is again, the case, with album
reviews.
8. • The music tastes of the respondents vary
in this question. Therefore maybe it would
be better to cover a wider range of music
in the magazine.
9. • Converse and Vans would most likely be
advertised in the magazine.
10. • The magazine would most likely release a
new issue every month or week
depending on demand, but also
depending on the style and content of the
magazine.
