MARKET WRAP
Equity markets end flat, Nifty up 1.4 pts at 6119 & Sensex down 9 pts at 20345.
RBI ups repo by 25 BPS to 6.25 & reverse repo by 25 BPS to 5.25, CRR at 6%.
European markets were up with FTSE leading the region, Final PMI up at 54.6.
Indian equity market were lackluster and ended mixed & flat as Nifty ended 1.4 pts up at
6119 & Sensex was down 9 pts at 20345. RBI hiked the repo and reverse repo rate to
keep worrying inflation under control. Euro markets were up 0.5%-0.9% with FTSE up
0.87% as oil cos. giant BP’s earnings came upbeat. Dow future was up 70 pts as well.
