11. CLASSIFYING TREES
• There are two main types of trees:
• DECIDOUOS trees lose their leaves in
autumn and winter.
• EVERGREEN trees keep their leaves
during all seasons.

ferns and mosses, do no

SPORES to reproduce

leaves.
Mosses
reproduce with
spores that grow
inside capsules.
