Faith is taking God at His Word.
Faith is trusting God to do what He said.

this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by
works, so that no one can boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV

16. YOUR CHOICE

You can not get saved by the actions of another person!
YOU and You alone must make that choice.
17. YOUR CHOICE
Have you sinned?
Do you want to go to hell?
Do you believe you need to be saved?
Do you believe Jesus Died for your sin?
Do you want to receive His gift of salvation?
Are you willing to accept God’s gift of Salvation?
18. ACCEPTING GOD’S GIFT
Question: How do we accept God’s gift of Salvation
through REPENTANCE and FAITH?
Answer: PRAYER
Prayer is talking to God.
• Through prayer we express our faith to God and call on Him
Prayer is telling God
• how we feel…
• what we believe…
• what we need…
• what we want…
19. ACCEPTING GOD’S GIFT
Points to consider:
If you have prayed to receive Jesus you do not need to do it again.
We do not want you to pray to be saved unless you really meant it.
Do not pray it because someone else does, do it only if you want to.
Prayer of Salvation:
"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated
me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past
sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again.
I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from
the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of
my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send
your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my
life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
