2. This is Mt. Aso. It is a famous tourist attraction. Mt. Aso in which
it boasts o caldera of the world’s largest class. Now, I’ll introduce
about Aso’s the four seasons. Please enjoy it!!!
3. Scenery of spring
• This is a “Kome-zuka”. It is a
lovely small mountain and a
mark of a small volcanic cone.
The legend is handed down in
this mountain. It is a legend
that pilling up the harvested
rice. Therefore, the mountain
called “Kome-zuka”.
4. This is a Aso’s fire festival. It is held until the begining of April
from in march every year. It is alo held grand scale “Himojiyaki”
and “hiburishinnji”. You can feel spring coming...
5. Scenery of summer
• This is sunflower. There
are many sunflowers in
Aso. I saw it this summer
and It was very beautiful.
Many visitors came to
sunflower garden. It was
as if yellow campus!!!
Why don’t you go there
next summer???
6. This flower is a azalea. At the beginning of May, Miyamakirishima
makes the flower bloom and the surface of a mountain is dyed to
the pink color. Actually, Miyamakirishima is a very small flower for
each petal.
7. Scenery of autumn
• This is a typical flower of
autumn. This cosmos
garden is very large.
There are many cosmos
in Minami Aso mura. It is
in a lot in the wayside.
Particularly, orange, pink,
white cosmos are in full
bloom now!!!
8. This is a field of clouds in Aso. I never seen it so I want to see it
someday. However, to see a field of clouds is difficult because it’s
not easy with various conditions. If you can see it, you are lucky!!!
9. Scenery of winter
• It is very cold in the winter
of Aso. The ground is deeply
covered with snow during
winter. The pond also freeze
over. I think that the winter
is very unpleasant time for
animals. There is no grass
and leaves.
10. This is Aso X’mas balloon festival. The balloon illusion at night
creates the fantastic world!!! An illumination, a live stage, and the
balloon experience boarding, are executed. It os held for 2 days
December 23rd and 24 every year.
