Costly waterproofing maintenance has been a main
concern for high-end low-density residential developments.
Long-term leak free buildings and structures demand the use
of high quality waterproofing system. VOLTEX bentonite
waterproofing plus ccw MiraDRAIN drainage system is the
ideal sub-grade waterproofing solution for this luxurious
residential structure located in Tai Po.
VOLTEX bentonite waterproofing membrane protects the
structure from water using the high swelling and self-sealing
properties of sodium bentonite to form a monolithic, low
permeable layer. ccw MiraDRAIN drainage composite
consists of a high-strength core and no-clogging woven filter
fabric. It is able to retain its high-flow capacity while withstand
high compressive strength in basement structural wall
application. With a total thickness of less than 20mm, this
effective "Drain and Dri" system offers construction of cavity
walls no longer required, hence leaving more internal floor
area for building users.
Installation is easy. No special equipment is required for
installation. Concrete or compacted soil backfilling can be
done directly on VOLTEX or ccwMiraDRAIN.
