The 2009 annual meeting of the NCSSM Alumni Association covered the following topics:
1. The president welcomed alumni and provided an agenda for the meeting which included discussing the association's mission, accomplishments, strategic goals, the alumni board, elections, volunteering opportunities, and the campus master plan.
2. Key accomplishments over the past year included raising $164,000 for the annual fund and establishing an online social media presence. Strategic goals included publishing a monthly newsletter, raising $200,000 for the annual fund, and building a regional chapter.
3. The meeting provided information on getting involved with the alumni board committees and volunteering with admissions. It concluded with a presentation on the campus master plan and

Keep in mind that this is excellent progress, particularly when the body of alumni grew by approximately 5%. 2.
