4. IMMIGRATION
All the foreigners wishing to live and
work in Turkey need to have valid
residence and work permits.
Entry of foreigners to the Turkish Labor
Market is regulated by the Law on
Working Permits of Foreigners No. 4817,
dated 27 February 2003. Law #4817
establishes the all the principles for the
granting, restriction, and cancellation of
work permits in Turkey.
Applications for the work permit can be
made in Applicant's country of residence
through the Turkish Consulates or for
the foreigners with valid residence
permit, can be directly made to the
Ministry of Labor and Social Security in
Turkey.
