«The computer class was the best thing I’d done since my husband died» «We feel like we’ve joined the
human race». These are two answers given by persons who have been asked what learning the Internet had
changed their lives. These type of class was offered on an american retirement house to groups whose ave-
rage age was 82 years. A study to come shows a 30% decrease in depressive symptoms in this population.

«nous avons le sentiment de rejoindre de nouveau l’Humanité». Voici deux réponses faites par des personnes
auxquelles on a demandé ce que l’apprentissage d’Internet avait changé dans leur vie. Les cours en question
ont été dispensés dans une maison de retraite américaine à des groupes dont la moyenne d’âge était de 82
ans. Une étude a paraître montre une baisse de 30% des symptômes dépressifs sur ce type de population.
