Most of us get hold of books *iBooks, *google play, kindle ebooks, *app store
These * have more capabilities because of their format.
-Activities can work with paper books too but you have the device ready
-Can also turn many of the activities into not digital ones
-The idea of this session is…the device has the capability to do extra things which are simple and either cheap or free.
-Can be done on BYOD. iPhones etc. (wifi, free apps or phone capability)

I was AM and so little time… so he did warm up and writing via web quest. Flipped.
Senario to encourage interest. Three types of writing …newspaper report, letter (formal and informal). Mary Shelley’s life, Story of Frank, Frank on film. Areas all covered by the book but he hadn’t seen the book yet. Big class… different groups could cover different areas. Report back to blog. Or do this as long term project.
