26. Beam Forming is the new wireless technology to expand the coverage in the multi-level homes and offices. It utilizes “Directional Sensing” and “Multi-Path” techniques to achieve this purpose Beam Forming
27. Directional Sensing The wireless radios of a beam forming router will sense the direction of incoming wireless signal. Then it will focus the transmission signal towards that direction. The technology increases the wireless signal strength and the transmission stability towards the intended recipients. It improves the radios' efficiency and utility level to achieve greater wireless coverage
28. Multi-Path Capability The wireless signals usually reach remote destinations by signal bouncing. During this process, it is possible that the multiple paths are formed to reach the destination devices. It might create the "the early transmitted packets will arrive later" problem which will render most packets useless. How should we setup the WiFi network in a conference room where many users will share the bandwidth? A typical Access Point can handle between 20 to 30 users.
