Hey Blazers, do you want to organize hipster events for the school like Homecoming? Do you want to be the person behind the pep rallies? Do you enjoy student and community outreach and feel like you are a strong leader amongst your peers? If so you should join the SGA! Applications are now available in room 161. Pick one up in the SGA Office room 161 during 5 or 6 lunch and return it by Wednesday, December 23rd. See you then!
Silver Chip’s Spanish Page
Do you enjoy writing in Spanish? Are you able to write it well? If you have the potential, then wait no longer and submit an article to silverchips-en-espanol@hotmail.com !! The article chosen will then receive a spot on Silver Chip's Spanish page – La Esquina Latina. Write about violence against women in Latin America. The article needs to include your sources, and should be directed to high school readers. Submissions will be accepted from December 1st to December 17th. It is never too late to turn in a free and reduced lunch application. Pick up an application at the attendance office. Completed forms should be turned in to the attendance office.
CASA (through 12/23)
Want to make someone's holidays a little warmer? Have any used or unwanted
winter clothes? If so, bring them into room 147. Scarves, hats, gloves,
mittens, coats, jackets, sweaters, you name it. Donations will go
towards the less unfortunate at CASA de Maryland this winter. If you

Congratulations to the Blair Ice Hockey Club on their 10-3 win over Poolesville with an impressive showing on the ice by Blair sophomore, Rudy Carson, with 7 (yes, 7 goals) on the night! Go Blazers Hockey!
