13. Mark Losey Age: 36 Mark Losey now lives in Cary, North Carolina Mark tends to travel often due to his job. You wont find him at home for more than a two week period. Numerous BMX companies hire Mark to shoot photos for them. Most are used in adds or posted on their websites. Marks passion for BMX grew as he was a younger kid. Although he never became a pro BMXer he enjoyed taking photos of his friends just having a good time on their bikes. This eventually grew to become his career. Close to 80% of Mark’s photography is composed of action shots. He tries to combine perfect angles and perfect lighting to create THE PERFECT shot.

15. I find this one of Mark’s key artworks. I love the composition of the piece. What we see here is a pro rider Seth Kembrough doing a tire tap on a self built jump. I find it very eye catching how they managed to incorporate a washing machine in the picture. I find the fish eye lens makes the photo very unique. The lighting is also very intriguing. You see a glimpse of a sunset in the corner.

16. Personal Response What I really like about this photographer is that he does 2 things that he enjoys daily. BMX and photography. He has found a job for him self that accompanies both his passions in life. I also really enjoy his photography because BMXing interests me.
