Today in Vigor’s 6 locations, we have XXX drydocks, YYY linear feet of pier space, and ZZZ square feet of indoor fabrication and build space… in our six locations. RECOMMEND WE SKIP THE LOCATION DETAIL – ALREADY SAID MOST OF IT AND AUDIENCE PROBABLY KNOWS MUCH OF IT : Locations: Vigor operates out of six facilities in the Pacific NW; Portland, Tacoma, Seattle, Bremerton, Port Angels, and Everett. Portland – On sixty acres on the banks of the Willamette, our Portland facility has multiple undercover fabrication bay; a 600 ton gantry crane; three drydocks, the largest of which has a 30kLT lifting capacity; ____LF of pier space; and 17 whirly cranes. Tacoma – Along the middle River on Commencement Bay, Vigor operates a five acre, full service yard, specializing in commercial fleets and ship modernization. Seattle – On Harbor Island aside the Elliot Bay, Vigor and US Fab repair and fabricate on 27 acres. There are three drydocks, 3,000LF of pier space and 18 whirly cranes. Bremerton – Home of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Vigor performs top side and drydock repairs to aircrafter carriers, frigates and other naval assets. Port Angeles - Located on the Straits of Juan de Fuca, our location is ideally located to provide commercial repairs. Everett - Farther north in the Puget Sound, Vigor operates a 3.6 acre facility providing repair and outfitting.
Wave Buoy – for Ocean Power Technology, in Swan Island, assembling floating generators which will turn ocean waves into electricity. Vigor will also support the launch of these test units next spring.
Landfill Gas Converters – for Applied Filter Technologies, in Portland. We provide labor, material & fabrication including 2,000-gallon stainless steel tanks, piping, ladders, catwalks, assembly of chillers & heat exchangers, and installation of control units. First unit installed in Chile turns landfill bio-methane gas into electricity to power 1200 homes. Working on additional units for US & Canada
