● There is a good variety of shot types to show the basic storyline to the
movie, but not giving away too much information, leaving the audience
contemplating what will happen, and encouraging people to watch the film.
● The voice over is obviously an omnipresent narrator who seems to be
reliable in telling the story. This makes it more impressionable, as opposed
to a voice over – separate to the story / not in the movie.
● The unique selling point is that the director is Baz Lurhman and this is
shown through the fast pace of shots, the drama and bright colours.

better preview of the movie as there is opportunity for more one-liners
between characters to be shown, which demonstrates the comic genre and
thus encouraging people to watch it.
● The music matches the editing – if it is fast then the shots are too.

realistic, adding to the tension and fear for the audience.
