I have been learning how to play the guitar using the Jamorama lesson products. So far it’s been really fun and easy. I am getting really good at it. I even played at my sister’s party last week! I can’t wait to get to the advanced stage though. Maybe I’ll be able to even play in a band then.

Do you want to learn playing guitar at home? If you want to, then don't worry because it's not
impossible. It will be quite a challenge and will require serious dedication from you to really learn
and improve yourself in playing the instrument. You'll also need a few resources and materials to
aid you in teaching yourself how to play the guitar.
There are a lot of ways to choose from that will enable you to have the capacity to learn playing
the instrument on your own and without having a music instructor always right beside you. You
can learn through guitar lesson guide books, free online lessons, video tutorials, and even just by
watching and imitating other musicians who play guitar online.
The best way to learn playing the guitar all alone is mostly through the guide books, online
sessions, or video tutorials. Just mimicking how other people play the guitar on video-viewing
websites does not really teach you the basics and you won't be able to understand how and why
the instrument is played that way. You may find it difficult to play music on your own and you'll
always copy what other people do in the videos. If you choose online sites, make sure that they
have enough credibility and that the testimonials of the participants of such sites are generally
positive.
Once you've chosen your means of learning, you should also acquire the necessary materials.
The most important object that you will need is your own six-string guitar. You can borrow from a
friend who owns one but it is highly advisable that you purchase one for your own use. It would be
better if you buy a guitar of good quality but not too expensive since you're only a beginner. You
will also need a guitar pick and preferably medium-sized. You need a place or a spot where you
can practice (an armless chair would do). Lastly, you need a great amount of patience.
Learning to play this instrument takes a lot of time and consistent practicing. You may experience
getting callused on your palms because of too much pressing from fret hand positions. Avoid
getting a strain injury by warming up your hands and arms first before you practice. A good stretch
will loosen you up and help limit the pain.
A lot of people who initially want to learn by playing guitar give up in the end. Their patience runs
out and they inevitably get injured once or twice. Even if everything you need is handed out to you,
the desire and determination to learn to play this instrument remains up to you.
