Acalanto significa o ato de acalentar,
de ninar uma criança, levando-a ao peito e
cantando para que adormeçam.

3. PARA QUE SERVE UM ACALANTO?

Cantigas de ninar, canções de
ninar, ninos, acalantos ou cantigas de
embalar são canções que as pessoas
entoam para fazer os bebês ou crianças
dormirem.

4. WHAT’S A LULLABY?

A lullaby is a soothing song, usually sung to
young children before they go to sleep, with
the intention of aiding that process.
