Not a good way to build a freelancing ‘ business ’ (not talking to the clients directly in most cases, less say in how the work is being done, etc). ALSO potential legal issues (but more on the employer, except expenses)
Hard to pin down a dollar value. If you go there trying to sell, good luck. Organic process.
