Vision V/s Mission <br />Which needs to be more advertised Vision or Mission……..<br />Vision<br />Vision is the starting point of expressing an organization’s dream to be covered into reality in future. As per the dictionary Vision means “a mental image of what the future will or could be like”. But as per organization point of view vision represents what the organization would be in future; it implies that the organization should create projections about where it should go in future and what major challenges lies ahead. Under this we attempts questions like-: where we want to be?<br />Vision of HUL India<br />Unilever products touch the lives of over 2 billion people every day – whether that's through feeling great because they've got shiny hair and a brilliant smile, keeping their homes fresh and clean, or by enjoying a great cup of tea, satisfying meal or healthy snack.<br />Mission<br />As per Dictionary meaning Mission refers “to that aspect for which an individual has been or seems to have been sent into the world”. Mission is the essential purpose of the organization, concerning particularly why it is in existence, the nature of the business it is in, and the customers it seeks to serve and satisfy. <br />Since mission of an organization implies the image which it seeks to project, very often, mission sets apart an organization from others. Thus, Pearce and Robinson have defined mission as follows:<br /> “The company mission is defined as the fundamental unique purpose that sets a business apart from other firms of its type and identifies the scope if its operations in product and market terms”.<br />Questions we attempts under this are: where are we?
