every person that owns a CT Partnership-approved long-term care insurance policy. Actual (not rounded) figures were
used to calculate the 5% discount.
Please note that the “Average Daily Rate” shown above refers to a weighted
average of the rates charged on September 30, 2010 for a semi-private room in
Connecticut nursing facilities as reported in the following pages.
The actual daily charge in a specific nursing facility may be higher than what is
reported due to subsequent changes in the daily rate and/or due to additional fees
for items, such as, prescriptions, “unbundled” services (some facilities may charge
extra for certain therapies, like physical therapy), telephone, cable TV, linen
services, and hair care.
