2. The Brick Wall
• On all three products, we have used the brick wall
originally featuring in our music video in the chorus. We
then went back and took a picture of the wall for the
background of the magazine advert. This same picture
was then resized to be used on 4 of our Digipak panels.
One of the other panels, the picture of the band, they are
also standing in front of a brick wall. The front cover is
made up of lots of small pictures of the brick wall frames
from the chorus.

3. The Font
• We used the similar fonts on
both the Digipak and Magazine
Advert, which we got from
dafonts.com. Our view of the
‘vibe’ of the video, paired with
the use of the brick wall led us to
decide on a graffiti, spray-paint
types of font. By using the similar
styles of font on both products
the audience makes an
appropriate association between
them.
4. • This picture is probably what we consider the frame/picture
which captures our video best. For this reason, we use it in
Pictures of the boys some way or another on all three products. Like with the
fonts, by having this continuity, the audience recognises and
makes the link between all three products, enhancing
advertising, without it being too repetitive or boring, as each
product uses the picture in a slightly different way.
The
Digipak
front
cover is a
collage of
miniatures
of the
picture.
For the Digipak, we added
different accessories to each
person using a brush tool.
On the Magazine advert, this was the one and only feature
other than text, and so had to be different and catch the
audiences attention. We cut out each person individually, took
away the colour, and added various filters and effects.

5. Other associations the video
• Along with the main picture of the boys, and the brick wall, we also
used other pictures associated with the main product on the
Digipak, as shown below.
