How to use Glogster in the classroom

It allows you to create interactive
online posters, complete with text,
images, graphics, audio and videos.

1. Glogs can be used to present lessons
complete with links to outside resources,
with audio and videos related to the subject
and topic.

education, general education and ESOL
students as they can have images, audio and
video on them.

students in learning.

6. Set up accounts
You can create
accounts for all
students in your
class at
Glogster.com.
Students can then
use their accounts
to create and save
glogs.
This is a safe,
collaborative and
interactive
platform for
students.

7. Basic Layout
The wall and
graphics
function will
give you your
basic layout.
Click on the
wall to select a
background.
click on the
graphics to add
details.

8. Add Text, Video and Sound
Click on text, images,
video or sound to add
them to your glog.
You can also hyperlink
the text to outside
sources and insert images
you want to the glog.
To add videos you can
upload and embed a
video on the glog from
YouTube or your own
files.
You can upload sound
files to your blog too.

9. Save and Publish Your Glog
1. You can save the glog and come back to work on it.
2. Publish it on Glogster
3. You can embed it on a website, wiki or blog
4. Or share the URL
with friends,
teachers, staff and
family.
