Call numbers are like a street address for resources. It identifies where on the shelf an item can be located.
For example, all books about dogs will be grouped together.

When you read the numbers after the decimal point, do not read it as a whole number. Look at each number one at a time to see what comes first
Begin with the 2 letters at the beginning then move down to the rest of the numbered call number.
