1. Terminating a relationship is a very hard role. In a counseling relationship could
be harder. When worked as a behavioral assistant is similar to or scenario. I would work
with the hardest clients. Would always be moved, because I was needed else where. This
Transformation was emotional. It became too difficult for me. It was taking toll on my
home life. I was constantly worried about my client. I became too involved. The parents
were too dependent on me. I was a parent a mentor and a teacher. Working in a helping
profession is a very hard job.
It takes professionalism and understanding to work in a helping field. If a
counselor becomes worried about the client, should he or she seek referral? I believe if I
were a counselor, with the issues I talked about; I would seek referral. Talking to a
supervisor is an applicable answer. Although it is important to judge and incorporate your
own behavior, demmed necessary.
School Psychologist give open ended questions. They are over whelmed with
paper work in my community. The psychologist was my supervisor. I felt uncomfortable
telling her, I was attached to my client. Each client I worked with, she assigned me. She
always complemented my professionalism and understanding of each Childs needs.
Inclosing, ignored transference, ignorance aloof about a specific behavior in ones
culture
Ignorant about a culture and act...Can cause unwanted curves in counseling. I
believe assurance of self is a good step in a quality relationship in the helping profession.
