3. What is the Texas STaR Chart? Texas has created the STaR (School Technology and Readiness) Chart, which is a self-assessment used by campuses and districts. It is aligned with the Long-Range Plan for Technology and is used for planning, budgeting, and evaluating technology progress.

13. Summary Today’s students need technology in order to be active and productive in this century. Teachers need to help by incorporating technology into their lessons and lives. This will only be possible with appropriate support and training for everyone.
